Buck pov
Maddie and Bobby come back into the room with a bag of food.
They place the bag in front of me.
"Eat." Bobby says.
"I dont think i can." I say
"Why?" Maddie asks confused.
"The doctor is putting me on blood thinners and they're keeping me here for a couple days to see how they work and so they can run some more tests." I say
Maddie doesnt say anything.
"Maddie go home." Bobby says
"No im staying with my brother."
"Maddie please you dont want to be here. You're stressed and upset. Please go home." I say trying to convince maddie.
"Buck im fine."
"No maddie you arent. If you arent going to stay at home at least go change clothes because you have blood on yours from me i assume take a shower and bring my phone charger please?"
"Fine is there anything else you need?"
"Cards? Like playing cards? Or a different game? I dont know im bored."
"Ok ill be back in a little while."
Maddie leaves and its just me and bobby.
"Tell me how much medication did you take before yo went to the bbq?"
"Not too much."
"Buck." Bobby says
"Like 4 Tylenol and 2 Advil." I say getting quieter as the sentence goes on.
"Buck thats too much."
"Ive taken more than at once before and i was fine."
"Buck do not tell your sister that."
"Oh dont worry i wont."
