💿 Antidote - KANGDANIEL

Jimin's voice faded away as soon as their eyes met.
Jeongguk's eyes had always been like an open book, showing his emotions. Even though he sometimes seemed to be more of a reserved or passive guy, his eyes always told the truth. And the only thing Jimin could see was exasperation and something much more deeper.

For Jeongguk on the other hand, it was the first time he cared about something.
Hell anything.
For once he was actually serious about something in their relationship and of course Jimin made the situation unserious. It's unusual for them to actually be serious.

Jeongguk's anger and frustration was increasing steadily. He walked towards Jimin and placed his hands on the wall, on each side of the smaller's head, extending his arms in order to create a fair amount of distance between them. At this point, he was basically towering over him as if he were to prove his dominance. He immediately looked down, followed by a slight head tilt.

"Famous people tend to have really high standards-"
Jeongguk claimed but was cut off rather quickly by an agitated-looking Jimin.

"So you think that I am not fitting that standard, huh? That I'm not enough for him? Jeongguk, you're being ridiculous,"
Jimin let out an annoyed huff, hiding the feeling of discomfort. For him, Jeongguk's behaviour didn't make any sense at all.

"Jimin, he is gonna hurt you"

Obviously, Jimin was extremely confused. Their casual hateful conversations were much easier than this. In fact, he actually slowly started to panic at where this was going. So he began to ramble,
"What are you even doing? Only yesterday you were kissing me and now youre acting like an annoying overprotective brother, I just dont get you"

After they both realized what Jimin had just said, the room went dead silent. The only sound that could be heard was the flow of air running through the ventilation shaft.
The taller hesitantly took his hands off the wall as he sucked in the air, his defined brows coming down into a barely perceptible frown.

"It was completely unnecessary to bring that up,"
Jeongguk stated sternly, his lips forming a thin line.

"Oh you wanna ignore it? Fine"
Actually it wasn't fine.
Quite a few things were at stake because of their shared kiss. Well, more like kisses. And this time both of them were obviously sober and not awfully wasted so there was no way to make up excuses for their behavior.

"Jimin, just tell me whats going on between you two and I'm gonna leave you alone"

"Him and I are friends. Our relationship is strictly platonic. Besides, he's already interested in someone else and I'm even helping him. Are you happy now, huh?,"
Jimin said, looking the other straight in the eye. He didn't even know why he felt the need to defend himself when he literally could've just ignored Jeongguk's words.

"Oh"

"Yeah oh. Jeongguk, I don't get why you are making a scene out of this,"
Jimin breathed out, touching his forehead in a stressed out manner. He was displeased with the latter's short and stoic answer.

Jeongguk was thinking really hard. He had already expressed the reason for his actions so it was quite difficult to rephrase his emotions. The room stayed silent until Jimin sighed.
That's when Jeongguk decided to speak up,
"If I were to be in the same situation as you, you would have done the same"

"No, I obviously would not behave like a overgrown puppy"

"You love puppies!" Jeongguk defended himself frustratedly while pointing at the smaller.

Jimin, on the other hand, snorted, "Not when the puppy is you"

"Oh, you're at it again, I see. Congrats Mister grumpy-"

Jeongguk was interrupted by the Jimin's mouth on his, connecting their lips in a deep kiss. Without thinking about it, Jeongguk, of course, reciprocated the kiss passionately, leaning down slightly to match the smaller one's height.

Just when he actually realized what was happening, Jimin pulled away from him and hurried to the door, leaving Jeongguk dumbfounded. In fact, he just stood there, feet rooted to the ground.

"What was that?"

"Huh, what do you mean? I have no idea what you're talking about. Nothing happend, remember?"
Jimin responded acting as if he was oblivious and showing off his fakest smile. Well, someone had to remind the taller that Jimin always won.
Game on.

"Wait, come back you little-"
the younger went after him, however Jimin started to sprint away.

"Bye, fucker!"

As soon as Jeongguk reached the main hall of the dining room, he had to slow down because people were starting to glare at him. He had given up to catch up because Jimin was simply to too far ahead of him.

"Jimin, where's you're dessert?" Jeongguk heard once he approached their table. He noticed the way Jimin brushed over his lips with the back of his hand and then doing the same, still remembering the feeling of the other's mouth on his.

"I suddenly didn't feel like eating dessert anymore so i returned empty-handed,"
Jimin answered while cheekily glancing Jeongguk's way. Only the latter understood what he was referring to and could not hold back a scoff.

Maybe this was just how they were.
And it certainly wouldn't change suddenly, right?
