It was late afternoon when Jimin had arrived at home. Without thinking twice, he decided to head over to the Jeon's villa.

However, instead of ringing the doorbell, Jimin looked if there were any open doors. To his luck, the terrasse door was open and he quickly stepped inside.

"Jimin Honey! When did you get here?"
he heard someone shout excitedly from the other side of the living area. As he looked up, Jimin saw Hyeonju walking towards him with a wide smile plastered on her face. He panicked for a second but then actually managed to pull himself together rather quickly.
Hyeonju pulled him into a hug and led him to the kitchen where Jeongguk was standing, wearing a simple tank top and gym shorts. Jimin decided to ignore that Jeongguk's toned arms were full on display.

They turned out to be quite distracting anyway. He sat down on a barstool, facing the kitchen aisle where Jeongguk's mom was pouring him a glass of juice. Jeongguk was standing at the counter, weighing some ingredients and the blonde kept staring at his back and arm muscles.

"Is everything alright? You keep on zoning out,"
Hyeonju asked and pushed the glass across the kitchen aisle, pulling Jimin out of his not-so-innocent thoughts. He tried to put on his best smile as he said,
"Huh? Oh, no! Everything's alright. I just stopped by to get something I forgot here"

Screw you, Jeongguk and your effortlessly hot body.

"Alright then," Hyeonju replied while rolling up her sleeves. Behind them, Jeongguk was still mixing up ingredients for a cherry pie in a huge bowl. He was stirring them by hand instead of using the baking machine that was lliterally ight beside him.

"Mom, could you bring me some milk, please? I'm running out of it,"
Jeongguk asked, completely ignoring the new presence in the room. Hyeonju looked at him weirdly but let it pass and responded,
"Yes, be right back!"

As soon as she had left, Jeongguk turned around with a - rather soft - scowl on his face. His hands and forehead were covered in flour, which was cute and hot at the same time, if you asked Jimin.

"What are you doing here? I'm not available right now as you can see"

"Okay, you moody ass. How long have you been baking? It's been like 6 hours since you sent me this text,"
Jimin asked, confused as to why he was still standing in the kitchen at 4 pm.

"I don't even know," Jeongguk sighed, turning around once again when Jimin started to walk around the kitchen isle
"It's for a charity event, for a dog shelter. But I didn't know that we had to bake, like, six cakes"

"But you seem to be pretty good at it,"
Jimin said teasingly as he pointed at the four finished cakes that were scattered on the counter. He then grabbed the kitchen towel next to him and, without a warning, stepped closer to Jeongguk, wiping the flour off his forehead.
"So messy," he mumbled and ignored Jeongguk's intense gaze on him.

When they heard the sound of footsteps approaching, they awkwardly moved away from each other.

"I'm back!" Hyeonju announced loudly as he entered the living area. Jeongguk cleared his throat and focused on the dough in front of him again.

"Thank you," he mumbled and immediately opened the milk carton to pour the needed amount into the bowl.

Time went by and Jimin was really thinking about just leaving but Hyeonju was smiling at him so nicely, even offering him something to eat. He couldn't just go.
Instead, he simply sat down and ate some of the cookies that she had arranged on a plate.
As they put the last cake in the oven, Jeongguk finally started to relax a bit, occasionally joining their conversation.

"Boys, I sadly have to leave you alone now. I promised Namjoon to visit a museum with him since he'll leave tomorrow,"
Hyeonju explained, putting most of the baking utensils into the dishwasher.
Namjoon would start his second year at Seoul National University, majoring in literature and business. Jimin still didn't know how the older managed to be a double major and not go crazy.

"Oh, I didn't know he was leaving so soon. But it's alright, we can clean up the kitchen a bit,"
Jimin smiled and instantly received a glare from the other boy who was still kind of covered in flour.

---

As soon as Hyeonju and Namjoon had left the house, Jeongguk groaned loudly and slumped down on the barstool beside Jimin.

"Now tell me, why are you here?"
Jeongguk asked and you could hear how exhausted and tired he was in his voice.
"Just to chill, maybe watch a movie"

This wasn't part of their agreement but he simply didn't care anymore.

"Let's watch this one K-drama you like then. I can't promise you that I won't fall asleep though. I'm too tired right now,"
Jeongguk said softly and Jimin hummed in response. He just wanted the younger's company, if he was being honest.

They moved to the couch after grabbing some snacks and a soft blanket. Jimin searched for the show on Netflix and started it from the first episode so Jeongguk would understand the plot. As they were thirty minutes in, Jeongguk's eyelids were growing heavy and he did try to keep them open but it just was impossible. Jimin noticed the way he struggled to keep his head upwards.

It took another two minutes until Jeongguk's head eventually dropped on Jimin's shoulder. At first, Jimin was startled a bit but then resumed watching the K-drama, ignoring the tingling feeling in his stomach.

After finishing the first episode and watching the second one afterwards he decided it would be better to convince Jeongguk to go upstairs instead of letting him sleep in this uncomfortable position. He tried to shake him awake but Jeongguk just curled up even more and tucked at the blanket that was supposed to be covering both of them.

"Gguk, you can sleep again once you go upstairs,"
Jimin said patiently brushing some hair strands out of the younger's face. It was heavenly soft and curly.

"Baby,"
Jeongguk suddenly mumbled and stretched his limbs slightly. He seemed to be waking up.

Baby? Is he talking to me?

Jimin was confused as hell so he froze and just kept his mouth shut, he didn't dare to respond. Instead, he stood up, pulling the blanket with him. Jeongguk groaned as his eyes opened slowly. He looked up at Jimin and then around the room.

"For how long was I asleep?"
he mumbled, standing up and walking to the hall where the stairs were located.
"You were passed out for like an hour and a half"

They went upstairs and Jeongguk passed out once again as soon as his back hit the mattress. Jimin sighed and layed down next to him.
He was ignoring Taehyung's 'where are you?' 'why are you not at home?' on purpose and he felt sorry but he just didn't have the energy to lie to his brother right now. He was also getting tired.

"Sleep well, you big baby,"
Jimin whispered with a soft smile on his face. And immediately, he was pulled into the taller's arms who buried his face in his neck.
Jimin knew it was a dumb idea to sleep now and he would definitely wake up in the middle of the night.
