💿 FACE - WOOSUNG

"I will never go on a plane again in my life. Like, what the fuck even was that? You can't tell me that was turbulence!" Jimin rambled as they entered the main hall of the airport in Heraklion. They had landed on Crete not long ago and had already picked up their luggage. Only Jeongguk heard Jimin's never-ending drivel and groaned audibly.

"Jimin, I'm freaking tired and you are annoying the crap out of me. Stop rambling, it makes me feel anxious," he grumbled as he pushed his hair back with both hands.

This surprisingly led to Jimin actually being quiet but if you took a closer look at his face, you could see that in his thoughts, he was still busy thinking about that flight. And it made Jeongguk feel weirdly uncomfortable.

"Stop thinking about it. You're thinking so loudly, I can literally hear your thoughts. It's just turbulence, you're still alive, everything's fine," the taller said and frowned as his headache started to grow worse. His words had almost felt comforting and calming if it weren't for the specific tone he used, whenever he was talking to the blonde.
In Jeongguk's opinion, there were just way too many people in a way too small place and everyone seemed stressed which made him feel stressed as well eventually. Airports weren't his thing at all.

"I hate you"

"Your hate speech is getting kind of old, you know? Can you at least use something different to express your distaste for me? Like I can't stand you're handsome face or I don't fancy you?"
Jeongguk hissed while looking over to Jimin.
The older just shrugged his shoulders and took a deep breath to calm down. He didn't want to snap right now, so he just let the taller and his antics be.
"Everyone, come here!" Hyeonju shouted so everyone would gather around her and both Jimin and Jeongguk hurried to stand beside the others.

"Miyeong and me are gonna go and find the parking lot where all the busses are. While we are doing that, you can use the restroom or explore all the stores, just stay together and leave no one behind. We wouldn't want to miss the departure of the bus, right Jeongguk?"
Hyeonju declared and side-eyed her own son. Jeongguk just sighed and replied in a whiny tone, "Oh come on, mom! It was just one time!"

"Yes but that one time was also last year and we don't want a repeat of it,"
she hinted with a smile that's oozing with pettiness. Jeongguk simply acknowledged her words with a descrete eye roll and striked towards the men's restroom. Just before pushing the door open, he paused and turned around.
"I'm gonna go pee. Just wanted to announce it since you insisted on all of us staying together," the raven-haired said with a petty smirk on his lips and a wink following his words. Then he pushed his back against the door to open it and disappeared into the room. If this was anyone else, Jimin would've found it extremely hot.

But it's Jeongguk.
And to Jimin, Jeongguk was anything but hot.

"This kid-
anyway, how about you send your location over text and we will just meet up wherever you are in 30 minutes? This way we all could go separately, " Namjoon suggested and both women agreed, saying it's a good idea.
When Jeongguk came back from the restroom, they told him their plan and everyone disappeared in different directions, some in groups, some alone.
To be exact, Namjoon went to a bookstore with his dad while Eunju searched for a shop that sells her favorite food, leaving Jimin, Jeongguk and Taehyung behind.

"Please don't fight for once,"
the blue-haired boy warned as he looked at both of them. Jimin just ignored his words and changed the topic, "Let's go and buy some water. I'm quite thirsty"

"Okay Mister goody two-shoes-"

"Jeongguk, stop it. If you two cause a scene right here I'm gonna abandon you for real," Taehyung warned again and pushed Gguk's shoulder lightly.
"Anyway, let's go. Gguk? Min?"
he called them and started walking through the crowded place.
When they had arrived at a small store, Jimin and Jeongguk entered and Taehyung could hear the little bell ring. He had decided to stay behind and sit down on a bench right in front of the store since he wasn't thirsty.

Meanwhile inside the store, Jeongguk had grabbed a popsicle and two water bottles before heading straight to the checkout counter to pay before Jimin could even grab something.

"I can pay for myself, you know?" the smaller mentioned and Jeongguk turned around while the cashier scanned the items and responded, "Who said that this is for you?"

At a loss of words, Jimin stood there, stopped in his tracks. He felt awfully embarrassed and you could see the evident blush form on his cheeks.
The other just chuckled and and shook his head.

"Brat," Jimin mumbled sassily and crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"I heard that Min," the other said calmly and reached out for Jimin's arms to untangle them. The blonde just let him since he felt like it was useless anyway.

"Don't call me that,"
he stated weakly and defenseless. There was a sudden shift in the air, some kind of vulnerability that made both of them uncomfortable. Deep down they both knew that Jeongguk's action came from caring genuinely and not because it was convenient.

"That would be 4.60 euros then," the cashier, an old, smiling man interrupted them and Jeongguk quickly turned around to pay the amount with his credit card just to give Jimin one of the water bottles afterwards and the smaller fetched it quickly, looking away from the other boy.

Okay, lets just pretend that this never happened.

-----

"Thank God you're here. What did take you so long?" Hyeonju asked the three boys and Jeongguk and Tae looked at Jimin, hinting that he's at fault.
You see, Hyeonju had a sweet spot for Jimin so she wouldn't be angry or frustrated anyway.
"I'm sorry, I needed to use the restroom because I had drunk too much water earlier. But I swear, we ran here. We were so afraid we wouldn't be able to catch the bus!"
Jimin defended them and she immediately waved it off, only telling them to go inside the bus and sit down quickly.

They did as they were told, sat down at random seats. Jimin chose to sit beside his mum and laid his head on her shoulder. Eunju smiled at her son, seeing the tired expression on his face. The moonlight shone down on Jimin's face, highlighting his eyes, glazed with tiredness. Combined with the dark blue light that came from the inside of the bus, it created a calm and safe space for Jimin and he decided to slowly close his eyelids.

Jeongguk, on the other hand, couldn't calm down. Since he had sat down beside Namjoon, his leg wouldn't stop to shake. He thought that maybe music would make him feel less tense so he went through his backpack, searching for his airpods. He put his headphones in and connected them to his spotify. He opened his spotify and looked for a song, any song that would be calming. What he didn't expect was the loud noise that came from his headphones when his finger slipped. 'Hey tayo' by Enhypen started playing and he didn't know if he wanted to laugh or to cry. His intention was to calm himself, now he felt even more stressed.

Great.

He quickly paused the song and switched the playlist to a more chill one. When he heard the song 'UN village' by Baekhyun, he instantly felt himself loosening up.
As he looked beside him he saw his brother with his eyes closed, so Jeongguk himself decided it would be a good idea to sleep as well, even if it was only for a bit. It's just an two hour ride anyway.
