Jimin was woken up by a ringing phone. He groaned and rolled over to the edge of the bed, grabbing his phone without looking and swiped up to answer the call,
"Who is it?"

"Jimin is that you? Why are you answering Jeongguk's phone?"

Jimin immediately sat up in shock and held the phone further away to take a look at it. It took some time for his eyes to get used to the darkness before he could actually see that it was in fact not his phone but Jeongguk's. And the caller ID belonged to none other than Taehyung.

"Hello?" the boy tried once again since he didnt get any answer.
Jimin was overwhelmed, to say the least. He had to come up with something really fast.

"Excuse me? I am not that Jimin guy. Who even are you?"
he answered more loudly than before, trying his best to disguise his voice.

"Okay, hold on I'm kind of confused right now. Who am I talking to-"

By now, Jeongguk was already awake and looked around his room in confusion.

"Oh my god, is he cheating on me? Are you his boyfriend? I can't believe it!"
Jimin acted as if he was a flabbergasted, jealous boyfriend. It must've looked kind of funny from and outside perspective.

"Baby, what are you doing,"
Jeongguk groaned lowly and scooted closer to the other.

"We're done!"
Jimin shouted before ending the call, exhaling loudly.

"Thank you for playing along,"
Jimin sighed in relief and leaned against the other boy from exhaustion and tiredness.
Still, Jeongguk was just as confused as before. That was when he realized that he let a pet name slip out of his mouth, his eyes going wide.

Baby.

"Uh," Jeongguk stammered,
"Sure, I guess."
An akward silence filled the room until he cautiously spoke up again,
"So what exactly happened?"

"I picked up a call and thought it was my phone but it was actually yours. Turns out it was Taehyung on the other end of the line so I acted like I wasn't me but a fling of yours or whatever,"
Jimin explained, oblivious to the fact that Jeongguk didn't hear the most of the conversation and layed back down to sleep.

"Great, now I have to explain to him who that 'fling' is,"
Jeongguk mumbled in annoyance but pulled Jimin closer anyway.

"I'm gonna suck you off in the morning if you stop being petty so shut up and sleep some more,"
Jimin mumbled, his face squished against Jeongguk's chest.

"C'mere,"
Jeongguk said as he grabbed one of Jimin's legs to make the smaller straddle him.

"Told you I would keep my promise,"
Jimin smiled.
"I would kiss you right now but-"

Jimin's phone lit up with a new text message. He leaned over to the nightstand and unlocked it to see who texted him.

Kim Taehyung.

'Come to my room? We need to talk'

"Shit," Jimin cursed under his breath,
"Uhm, I need to go before Taehyung notices I'm not at home"

"Alright. Just grab some clothes and try to leave without anyone seeing you,"
Jeongguk responded and kissed his shoulder.

After that, Jimin took the fastest shower of his life and brushed his teeth with his designated blue toothbrush before walking into the wardrobe, grabbing a loose shirt and a pair of sweat pants to wear. Instead of making a quick exit, he went to the bed and bid his goodbye, giving Jeongguk a chaste peck.
