A/N: Sorry about the slight writing break, I'm practically anywhere but at home all month, due to a busy summer schedule, but I wanted to get an update out as soon as possible. This one is set a week after the last one, where Lucy goes back to school, and this one switches pov's between Tim and Lucy, and also finally making an appearance in this chapter is Tim's childhood best friend, Miss Angela Lopaz herself. As always trigger warning for mentions of sexual assault, mental illness, light mentions of suicidal thoughts, and light mentions of child abuse. Yet again title is from You're losing me by Taylor Swift. Enjoy loves>33

....

It was a strange sensation, dying every night in her sleep but waking up and still being very much alive. And today she actually had to go back to life, living as if what happened never did, as if she was just supposed to smile and go about worrying about her grades, and collages like everything was normal, it made her want to scream. She woke up that morning with sweat covering her body, shaking for the pure terror she felt after awaking once again from a nightmare, that was in fact her reality. She didn't want to leave her room, she was completely terrified knowing she'd face the man who did this to her today, and just like her dreams she would live it all over again time and time again, but just like her dreams no one would protect her from this, not even her father.

He couldn't lie and say his mind hadn't been on Lucy Chen all week long, her almond brown hair, those warm eyes, the smile he feared he'd never see again. He dreamed about her, dreamed of her every night, about holding her, dancing with her, others he dreamed about the bruises on her neck, her unconscious body cover in blood, how he begged her to stay with him, and though the panic he felt was unmeasurable, until he realized that day was not only the first day back after winter break but the first time Lucy would have to face the person who turned her world upside, but he knew this time if Pierson even looked at her in a way he didn't like, he would rip him to shreds without a second though, though he couldn't quite deny the fact the already wanted to do that. "Tim!" He heard his sister call his name before barging into his room as he was combing threw his dirty blonde hair. "What Genny? You know it's 7 in the morning right? You could at least knock." He said in his usually grumpy tone. "I need to talk to you."

An I need to talk from Genny was never a good thing, so he found himself completely overwhelmed by it. "What happened?" He asked, knowing something wasn't right. "Nothing happened, but I wanted to talk to you about the whole Lucy situation." She said, and his heart dropped the moment her name was mentioned. "I'm scared Tim that he'll hurt her again, and as selfish as it is I'm terrified for her." Genny said, her voice just as defeated as he felt, and truth be told he feared the exact same thing. How could he protect her? He couldn't protect anyway, Not Genny, not his mother, not himself, and not Lucy. He was useless in his own mind, but it wouldn't stop him from trying. "Listen to me, he's not going to lay a hand on her I can insure you of that." He said, firmly the anger in him was growing again remembering how absolutely nothing was done to prevent it from happening again, since Pierson didn't get punished at all. "She's going back Tim.." his sister said, but Tim only grew more frustrated upon the image of her sobs as she told him how absolutely terrified she was last week. "He's not going to touch her, because if he touches her I'm going to kill him."

She didn't feel good about it at all, she couldn't stop her hands from shaking, she felt like she couldn't breathe, but she actually couldn't, enough soap and water and water couldn't get her clean that day, and she couldn't seem to stop the emotions from rushing in. She walked into the kitchen that morning, despite having no interest in eating, she hoped to plead for more time, because she couldn't do it. Couldn't be back in the place it happened, with the man who did it. "Mom.." she said, her voice shaky, hoping that her mother could overrule her father's decision to send her back to that place. "Yes sweetie?" She asked, as she put food onto a plate, luckily her father wasn't there at the moment, he was likely still getting ready. "I don't feel like going. I'm really scared mom." She told her, but before she got the chance her father walked in. "Don't be ridiculous Lucy, nothing will happen. Plus you can't let this ruin your life." He said, in a tone that was contradicting what he was saying, which made her so angry that she couldn't control it. He may just kick her out again, but she didn't care much, but instead of yelling which she wanted to do, she just started laughing, which earned her confused looks from her parents until she broke down crying.
