I go downstairs to have breakfast by own as always, since I'm not part of the family anymore, maybe I should really move in with Kai, I'd change my last name for his and we could really look like a married couple.
"You going somewhere today fagot?" Asks my dad behind me, ready to beat me up as soon as I talk about my friends and my boyfriend.
Honestly I don't care anymore, anything I do I receive a punch in the face or a slap, it doesn't matter anymore, I puff up my chest, I plaster a smile on my face and with all my nonchalant I reply.
<<Yes! I'll go to the park for a picnic with my friends and Kai!>> I just finished to say his name and my dad grabs my shirt to slam my body against the wall.
"You got some understanding problem you shit! You won't leave this house until you finished with your chores! I don't care if you'll break your back! You'll understand how much work I put on you to be a good son!" I nod almost mocking him.
<<Sure!>> I say with all the sarcasm I have, my dad's grip tightened and soon he punches me on a side of my face turning it to the other side.
It burns for the impact, I think it's bleeding.
Then I don't even time to recompose myself that he punches me on the other cheek... Sure, I'm already ugly as fuck, turn me in to an unshaped monster!
He makes me fall on the floor, I hear the air movement of his belt, this is gonna hurt.
One, two and I feel my back burning and fresh blood coming out from the new wounds.
"Don't you ever use that know-it-all tone with me you fucker!" He says going away, leaving me there bleeding on the kitchen floor.
I don't know for how long I've been there, probably a good 30 minutes when my sister saw me laying on the floor.
"Taehyun! Oh god, come here, let me help you" She says helping me get up from the floor.
She cured and cleaned my wounds and now I was standing in front of the mirror with my puffy cheeks and my body full of scars.
<<I hate it>> I say to an unprecised anyone.
"What?" She asks.
<<I hate my body, I hate my face, I hate my life, I hate everything about me... I only love my love for my friends and for Kai>> I say with tears falling down <<I look like a mummy! I look like a monster!>> I say almost smashing the mirror with my chair.
"Taehyun stop! Calm down!" She stops me "Look at me, you don't look like a monster, you're hurt both in and outside, but I know for a fact that my little brother is annoyingly handsome and pretty... Even prettier than me, I wish I could stop them and protect you, but unfortunately I can't, they might make me disappear and they're gonna let you die... We can't let this happen, now you rest a bit, I go make you some breakfast and I'll be back" She says going downstairs and I stay in my bed, sat in a way that my back doesn't hurt.
<<Oh well... They're gonna see me with black cheeks!>> I say ironically to myself, after some minutes Seohyun comes back with some food.
"Here, eat" She says and I start refilling my stomach after hours without eating... The last thing was a sandwich at 6:30 pm yesterday.
"Do you have to go out today?" She asks me.
<<Yes, I have to go to a picnic with my friends and Kai, I should start getting ready>> I reply to her, calmly finishing my breakfast.
After that I get ready with my sister's help and then we stay in my room talking and having fun until Kai comes and picks me up.
"Goodbye Taehyun! Have a good day!" Greets my sister.
<<Bye noona!>> I face Kai smiling at him <<Let's go!>> I say following in his house, downstairs.
"What happened to your face? Your cheeks are black!" Says Kai shocked.
<<Nothing... Just my dad>> I say waiting for our hyungs to pick us up.
"I heard what he said to you" He says sadly "Are you okay?" He asks and I just need to look at him to answer his question.
He nods taking my head with his hands stroking delicately my cheek "Oh Taehyun... You don't deserve all of this, let's run away! We'll be safe and we can live together happily, no harm, no hate, just me and you" He says with sparks in his eyes and I can't help but smile.
<<I love you Kai, but you know we can't just run away, your family loves you and they would be too worried, we are too young now, we need to wait for something like that>> I say comforting him, he hugs me and I almost feel my wounds opening under his touch <<Kai careful, it hurts on my back>> He gets away and look at me worried.
"Turn around" He says and I do so, I feel his hand grabbing the bottom of my shirt and pulling it up, I try to stop him from looking at those scars.
<<No, Kai stop! Don't do that!>> He already seen everything.
"After the picnic go pack your things, you'll stay with me for a few day" He says really determined.
<<Kai it's fine, don't worry, I'm used to it>> I try to calm him down and resonate with him.
"It's not fine! Your back is covered with bandages and bandaids and scars! I don't even imagine the rest of your body! Now we go have fun with our friends at the picnic, but after we are done you stay with me and we'll take care of all these wounds" He says and I only have to nod.

I doubted he could ever love me, but he loves me and cares about me more than I could ever think, I'm so lucky to have him, my little ball of sunshine!
I'm stubborn, but when he wants he can way more stubborn than me.
