Faust and Pakki wandered the celtorian wastes, in search of a black diver. There were only so few of them, so the chances of running into one were small, however running into monsters was much more common.

As Pakki and Faust were resting beneath a giant mushroom, they could hear a loud, disturbing noise. As they turned towards it, they saw the source - a giant lionfish engulfed in a purple aura.As it was about to fire it's destructive laser beam, the two divers hid behind the giant mushroom, however the noise of it charging up suddenly stopped.Pakki looked out from behind the mushroom, seeing not a diver, but someone in a leather jacket, wielding a thin yet huge sword. It looked to be high-tech. The man spoke to them. "I know there's another one of you divers there..."Faust walked out. "You're not exactly a diver...""Not quite. I'm with the ignition union." The man responded.Pakki narrowed his eyes. "The Divers and the Ignition Union are basically at war... Why didn't you attack us?""I'm not a fan of needless killing." He crossed his arms."That's cool... We're looking for a black diver. Any black diver." Faust leaned back."Black diver? Why's that...?" The man asked, sheathing his weapon."Castle Light's been breached. We need backup and every black diver is out..." Pakki responded."...Name's Kevin. I can help." He said as he looked at the pair. "...search that is. If anything breached Castle Light, I alone won't be enough to stop it. And the war thing is.... Exaggerated. Divers steal our technology."Pakki crossed his arms. "And you come onto our territory..."Kevin nodded. "Both valid arguements. Personally I think we should just work together... Maybe look into the Authority once."Faust smirked. "Kinda hard to do when you spent your entire life here."Kevin looked at him. "You mean you were... Born here? Oh well... ...You look familiar... But I can't quite put my finger on it..."

Faust shrugged in response. The three went on their journey, Kevin helping them deal with various monsters that stood in the way. Along the way, Kevin found a large, dark sword, stopping to examine it. "This... Belonged to one of us."Faust looked at it. "Isn't that the signature weapon of the ignition union?...""Yeah... There's always a name on the grip... 'Melodias'... ...I knew him." Kevin responded.Pakki thought for a moment. "What... Happened to him?""I don't know.... But I don't think he'd leave his weapon behind..." Kevin responded, taking a deep breath to compose himself. "...Faust. Your sword is basically useless at this point. I want you to have this instead. It's a darksteel greatsword. Extremely durable."

Back in Castle Light, Colt dragged Gwen to a side room. "Gwen, seriously, there's something wrong..."Gwen shut the door behind herself. "What's the problem?..."Colt was sweating, clearly disturbed. "Don't you find the monsters.... A little strange?"Gwen got serious. "No.... What are you getting at..?""I don't mean the way they look... Or the way they act... But the way they attacked in a group."Gwen narrowed her eyes. "What do you mean?..."Colt just looked at the map he drew for Operation Lightpath, his voice shaky. "It's almost like it was planned..."Gwen responded in disbelief. "You don't think..."Colt looked back up at her, almost whispering. "...There's a traitor among us."

For the next few battles Kevin watched Faust use the greatsword with great care. "Y'know... There's a reason I gave you that sword." He said."Oh? Am I just that charismatic?" Faust responded half-sarcastically.Kevin, however, wasn't in a joking mood. "Faust... Ytreshi, right? Those marks on your face looked similar. Melodias had them too. Melodias... Ytreshi had them, too."Faust looked at him for a moment before speaking. "It's probably just a coincidence. I was born here--""Just like he was. However he was taken by the Ignition Union, not the Divers." Kevin said. "We'll... Investigate that later. Let's just focus on helping your friends right now."

As they continued their way through the depths of hell, they finally stumbled across a similar looking figure. It was the black diver, Nathan, who had trained them.Pakki ran closer as soon as they were in eyesight. "NATHAN-- I mean-- sir!!"The black diver with brown hair and a scar across his face turned around. "Hm?.. Two divers with an Ignition Union lackey?" He pointed to Kevin. "Get outta here before I slice your head clean off."Faust stood in front of Kevin. "He helped us find you - and he's the reason we're still alive."Nathan huffed before Pakki continued speaking. "Castle Light's been breached... By various monsters. There are plenty of people still trapped inside. We need you to help."Nathan narrowed his eyes before sighing. "Fine... But if this is a trick I'll send you straight to layer 2."

The group finally went back to what Faust and Pakki knew as home. Kevin and Nathan easily took out the hordes of monsters, freeing the divers from their nightmare.

And that, is the story of how Castle Light was breached. For some people, it was a nightmare. For others, it was the cause of their death. And for the four friends, it was but the beginning of their story.
