Promotion: Fight...

The thought of calling for help was outside of Faust's mind. He didn't need it - he was doing just fine on his own, no matter how many monsters this hell threw at him. Gwen and Colt both knew they couldn't call for help whilst trapped inside a building. The only one who truly thought about sending a signal for Kevin was Pakki, yet he didn't.
As he struggled to parry the giant crab, instead relying on close dodges, the thought of what Nathan said to him the day before plagued his mind. He could call for help - But then he'd be killed.

Gwen looked at Colt, who was holding his head in the corner. "What... Are you doing?"
Colt stared at the ground. "It's- it's all pointless. Even if I try to fight--"
Colt was cut short by a few jellyfish flying in through the holes in the walls of the building. Gwen drew her blade and fought them, taking many hits in order to protect Colt. "Why's it matter?! Just keep fighting..!"
Colt shook his head. "It doesn't matter! Fighting for my survival isn't going to do anything, because we're all going to die, here and now!"
Gwen got another burst of gigameds but kept pushing on. "Then what do you fight for...?! There's got to be something that kept you going all this time!"
Colt sat down beside the corpse on the ground. "I..."
Gwen finally cleared the building of gigameds, looking out to see tens, if not hundreds of them heading for the building. If the two king gigameds weren't enough, the smaller gigameds from around the area gathered due to the commotion. "Why'd you become a diver?! That's your reason to fight! To keep pushing on! No matter how terrible the situation gets, think of that and keep fighting!"

Colt looked at the corpse beside him, crying with hundreds of different thoughts in his head forming a cacophony of dissonant noise before he finally moved the corpse, just as another bunch of gigameds entered the building. "...You!"
Gwen stabbed out at a jellyfish, turning to look at Colt. "Huh?- What..."
Colt finally moved the body, revealing a rifle spear underneath it, which he grabbed, wiping his tears. "You're... The reason I can keep pushing on!" He said as he fired a shot at a gigamed flying at Gwen from behind.

Faust finally finished his battle with the lionfish with a huge strike to it's head. In the distance, a crimson terrapod was approaching him. He took a deep breath, lifting his sword. "Keep throwing 'em at me... I'm awesome."

Gwen blushed a little, looking at Colt. "W-What are you--" She said, slicing a gigamed in half. "-Talking about..?"
Colt stood behind her, covering her back from the other side. "Ever since we were children..."
He impaled a gigamed, shaking it off his spear quickly.
Gwen sliced a gigamed that got in from the second floor. "Behind you!"
Colt shifted positions, now covering both holes in the walls. "...I've felt a connection to you...."
Gwen sliced overhead, accidentally cutting off some of the second floor's floor, letting in tons of jellyfish. They immediately went for Gwen, shocking her onto ground.
Colt whipped around. "Gwen!- are you--"

Gwen used her katana as a crutch to even get up onto half a knee. "If I really am that special... Fight! For me! Push on, no matter what! Fight, even if you can't anymore!"
Colt stabbed at the jellyfish that came in from above, killing two of them, before getting a shock to the back from another one.
Gwen struggled to stay conscious, but still didn't stop. "Fight!"
Colt sliced around in a circle, killing a good amount of jellyfish, before even more came in through the hole in the wall. "Even if I can't anymore.."
Gwen looked at Colt. "...Fight!"

Colt impaled a jellyfish, before shooting it off into the crowd of other gigameds.
"Fight!"
Colt stabbed at another jellyfish, killing it instantly.
"Fight!"
Colt pushed the gigameds inside back slightly.
"FIGHT!"
He opened fire on them, repeatedly shooting them. Now that there was a hole through the crowd of jellyfish, Colt saw a chance. He aimed at a half-collapsed building in the distance, shooting several bullets at it, making it crumble and fall on the two giant gigameds, crushing them.

Faust parried each and every single strike of the terrapod, stabbing his sword through it's mouth, killing it in a single strike.
Faust finally went back and helped Pakki finish off the crab they'd been fighting.
"Took you long enough! What the hell were you even--" Pakki said before looking over at the several dead monsters Faust left behind.
"Killing those things?" Faust responded.
"F-Faust, how did you..." Pakki looked on in disbelief, before turning to Faust.
Faust's hair cast a shadow on his eyes, obscuring his face as he put his hands in his pockets.
"Huh?- Are you okay? Was it something bad?..." Pakki asked, concerned.
Faust waited a moment.
"...I took the sword... And I hit them with it."
Pakki groaned. "We're never getting out of here, are we..."

Colt was out on the wasteland, impaling the last remaining gigamed before turning to walk back to the building to Gwen.
Gwen was leaning against a wall, smiling a little. "I knew you could do it..."
Colt put the rifle spear on his back, stumbling back to her. "...Thanks to you..."

Gwen looked at Colt for a moment, before pulling him in, kissing him.
