"It's simple, really."

"How so?"

"Take this sword. Be careful with it."

Camille, she takes the sword.

"Why...me? I'm lost."

"Why? Why not save others that are yet to be lost?"

"I couldn't save my own."

"Look at me."

"I am"

"I mean my eyes."

Camille sees the stars.

"Become one of us. Become a Ghost."

She takes the medallion. She's one of them now.

Pariah opens her bright blue eyes. She sees the ceiling of her ship, and sighs. She knows Dex is still asleep on the "bed" he made out of crates in her ship's cargo hold.

Knowing he was asleep, she felt a little...relieved to finally be alone. This past week has been hard on her.

She walks out of her own room, seeing Failsafe plugged into the wall, with Dex sleeping across the room.

Pariah looks at his face, examining it.

She had to admit, he was quite handsome for an Exo. ...what was she saying?! He was still a murderer, was he not?

These thoughts chase her as she exits the ship quietly.

They had landed on a cliff in the middle of nowhere, going back to the City. They needed this map from Lucas analyzed.

She was so close, to finding Asterion, to...avenging her parents.

She sits on the edge of the cliff.

They were two old Guardians, and they raised her. But then, they were killed.

She gets her surname from her mother. Rey.

Pariah Rey.

She plays with her hair and puts it up.

Why doesn't she just dump Dex and leave him. Why did she save him? Back on the Station.

And she shot Vess. Was she dead?

She feels a deep hurt in her chest.

"What the hell happened last night?" She speaks to herself.

After a few minutes, she walks back inside, only to be met with Dex, practically running into her.

Dex notices he's never seen her face, at least without her making a mean face at him.

He was astonished by her eyes.

She just looks at him strangely.

"Do you always act this strange in the morning?" She asks him.

"All the time

"All the time.....sorry."

Her expression goes soft.

"It's okay."

They look at eachother.

"Where are we going?"

"Back to the City..."

"What the hell? Why?!"

"This damn thing." Pariah holds up the map to Asterion. "I...don't know how to read it.."

"What's your plan then, walk into the Grand Library?" Dex crosses his arms.

"I didn't think about it."

Dex sits down.

"I....know a guy."

He says, as if this guy was their last resort.

"Hey heyyyy!!" The Drifter yells out, holding his arms out towards Dex. "What the hell you doing here, brotha?"

"I need a favor man."

Pariah walks inside after him.

"Ohhhh...you."

"Me." Pariah puts on a sarcastic smile.

Drifter walks up to her.

"It true you got Ikora and that old Hunter killed?"

"Screw off..."

"You know, and I know you know, I loved that old Hunter like a best friend....and then you...accidentally let him die?!" Drifter gets serious.

Dex has the urge to step in.

"He was my Father." Pariah growls.

"And you weren't shit to him..."

Pariah shoves Drifter.

"Both of you chill the hell out!" Dex raises his voice.

"Why would I help her? Do you know who she killed?!"

"I don't care....we're on an important mission."

"How important?"

Pariah hands him the map. His expression changes as soon as he saw it.

"Oh..."

He holds it tightly, opening the map up into a huge hologram, showcasing the whole Solar System.

Dex and Pariah both look at it in awe.

"This technology...I've only seen it once before.." Drifter comments, eyeing Pariah.

He glares at both of them.

"Who the hell gave you this mission?"

"Her name....Camille."

Drifter goes pale, taking a step back.

"You alright?" Dex asks.

"Yeah..Yeah. I...haven't heard that name in a long. Time."

"Who is she?" Pariah asks.

"She's a Ghost." Drifter begins.

As he begins to speak, far away, Camille stares down at a Wormhole Portal she had just opened.

"A killer from another time..."

Her Armored soldiers watch her closely. She was determined.

"I only met her once...and she scared the hell out of me."

Camille, the Lady Ghost, holds the sword Linesplitter tightly.

"Nothing was more important than her mission, she told me. And that was it."

Camille takes a deep breath, and walks into the Portal.

"There. Mars." Drifter points at a blue dot in the hologram.

"Just Mars?"

"No. If anything, the Black Garden."

Dex and Pariah look at eachother.

"Damn."
