"Is this the right place?"
Pariah and Dex both stand before a giant Vex Gate, inactive.
"You're the Vex guru, you tell me."
Pariah makes a face at him under her helmet.
"How do we get it open though?" She climbs down the cliffs and trudges through the high sand towards the Gate.
Dex leaps down after her.
They both stand at it.
"I don't think standing closer will turn it on."
"Shut up....I actually don't know what to do....wait.."
Pariah runs away, back up the cliff.
"Where are you going?!"
"Just stay there!" Pariah yelled, disappearing.
Dex sighs, sitting on a hot rock to wait.
He looks around, if this were the entrance to the Black Garden, where are the Vex to guard it?
After climbing up the cliffs, Pariah runs through the Barrens towards her ship, but she stops suddenly.
A Guardian, in gold and black armor, looking at her ship. He was a clear Hunter, with his white cape. He wasn't just a Guardian, he was THE Guardian, the Young Wolf..
Young Wolf, in his silence, notices Pariah watches him, and turns around.
Pariah quickly dives down into the sand.
"I saw you. Come out." The Young Wolf speaks.
"Are you here to capture me?" Pariah stays down.
"No...but I know who you are."
Pariah slowly looks up at the Young Wolf.
"Get up out of the sand." He told her.
She did.
"Why are you here then?"
"I was curious, so I followed you."
Pariah squints her eyes.
"How can i trust you?"
Young Wolf sighs.
"Trust me, you can trust me."
Pariah lifts her eyebrows at the strange dialogue from this Guardian. Nothing she's ever heard him say made sense.
"What're you doing here?" He asks her. They still stand in the sand.
"My....accomplice and I, were trying to get into the Black Garden."
"You don't know how?"
"No.." Pariah mumbles.
Young Wolf laughs, but not at her.
"Take me to this entrance you speak of."
As Dex sits on the rock, he looks up and sees Pariah with a random Hunter.
He stands up and grabs his rifle.
"He's a friend." Pariah replies.
Dex still holds his rifle as they approach. Then, he was able to recognize the Young Wolf.
"Damn...you're...you're."
Young Wolf doesn't say anything, just opens Gus hand to reveal the eye of a Gate Lord, named Zydron.
"Use this. It works." He said softly.
Pariah snatches it, excited. She then realizes her disrespectfulness.
