"Hinata-kun, do you know the person who's talking to your brother?" Komaeda asked as he put his bag down. He had just gotten back from piano practice.

"Huh? What person?"

"I don't know them," Komaeda said.

Hinata got up. "I'm gonna go look,"

"Can I come with you?"

"Sure,"

They went to the front of the school where Kamukura was standing, still talking to them.

"Oh, it's just Haru," Hinata said.

"Who's Haru?"

The person noticed Hinata and smiled brightly. "Hajime-kun!" They called out and ran towards him. When they got there, they pulled him into a hug. "I missed you!"

"I missed you too." He pat their back, smiling.

"Oh, you've already grown so much. Why are you taller than me? So unfair... you were supposed to be my little boys..." they sighed. "Well, anyway! Izuru-kun called me here. He said you told some boy about your job,"

"Yeah, I did. He found my gun," Hinata said the last part quietly.

The person nodded. Then, they looked at Komaeda. "Are you the one Hajime-kun told about it?"

"Uhm, yes." He nodded.

"Alright. Don't tell anyone, okay?"

"Mhm. I won't,"

They smiled. "Good. Thank you. I'm Haru. I've been taking care of Hajime-kun and Izuru-kun since they were little,"

"Ah, so were you the one who taught them how to be spies?"

"No, I don't know much about that, actually. I'm the secretary of the head of our company. I found them and managed to convince my boss to help them out. I was never even there when they trained," they explained.

"Can I meet your boss?"

"Why would you want to do that?"

"Because I'm curious about what this kind of company is like," He explained.

"Well, I don't really know. He doesn't have a lot of time,"

Komaeda sighed. "But I really wanted to interview him..."

"Interview? Do you want to be a journalist?"

He shook his head. "No, I don't. I just like finding out new things,"

"You don't wanna meet the boss," Hinata said. "He's annoying,"

"Aww..." Komaeda sulked. "Fine,"

"Maybe I could arrange a meeting," Haru said, despite Hinata's warning.

"Really?" His eyes lit up.

"I can't promise anything, but I can certainly try to convince him,"

-

It did work out. The boss got interested in Komaeda. He wanted to meet him. Hinata warned him that he was unfriendly and weird, but Komaeda insisted on meeting him.

He sat down in front of an empty desk. The boss was late, apparently. That wasn't a good first impression, but oh well. Komaeda could handle it.

After five minutes of waiting, he entered his office and sat down on the opposite side of the desk.

"You must be Komaeda-kun,"

"Yes. It's nice to meet you." He smiled and held out his hand for a handshake. The older man ignored it and Komaeda hesitantly retracted his hand again.

"So, how can I help you?"

"I would like to ask you a few questions,"

The boss nodded. "Tell me about yourself a bit first. You're Komaeda Nagito. Sixteen years old, right?"

"Mhm,"

"Speak up,"

"Mhm!"

"Speak up,"

"Uhm, yes. I'm sixteen,"

"You look young for your age,"

"Thank you..?"

"That wasn't a compliment. Anyway, what did you want to ask?"

Komaeda smiled. "Right. How exactly are the people here trained to become spies?"

"The most important part is being quiet and strong. We push our students to their limits and further. This isn't because we like seeing people be exhausted, but we need our spies to be able to push themselves over the limit once they have an actual job,"

Komaeda took a few notes. "And how do they train? What practices do they do?"

"They have to run a lot. It's very important to be fast and not get tired easily. Weightlifting too. They need to know how to handle weapons as well. And, as surprising as it may be, they need to know how to act. Sometimes they may need to go undercover,"
