TWO WEEKS OF RECOVERY after the tsunami and Vienna was bored as hell. After cleaning out the cabinets and finding bottles of hair dye, the blonde was finally able to go back to work.

"Morning..." Gabriella said walking out of her room and glanced up from her phone to see her sister's new blonde hair. "W-what did you do to your hair?"

"I found some bottles of hair dyes last night and I dyed it. So, what do you think?" The new blonde asked her, Gabriella grinned slightly.

"Yeah, it's amazing" She nodded sitting at the counter. "Uh, so, how are you feeling?"

"Yeah, fine" Vienna replied putting the bread into the toaster.

"So, no coughing up blood or anything?" The younger Reyes asked her, Vienna sighed.

"Gabby, I am fine, okay? I'm ready to go back to work 'cause if I don't, I'm gonna go crazy" She assured her sister, she nodded slightly. "Can you go wake Elena up please?"

"Yeah, of course"

...

The blonde walked into the officers as the officers clapped for her. Vienna chuckled sitting down in her seat as she sat down Tim stared at her.

"What?" She asked him.

"Uh, nothing, you're just blonde" Tim replied crossing his arms over his chest, she rolled her eyes.

"I like it" Angela told the blonde, she smiled.

"Thanks"

"Today is problem day" Sergeant Grey announced walking into the briefing room. "So you know what that means"

"Actually, sir, I-I don't" Nolan replied raising his hand.

"Problem spots on your patrol route. Locations that attract crime like a felonious magnet" Grey started to explain.

"Businesses used as a cover for criminal activity" Tim added.

"No-tell motels, massage parlors, dive bars" Angela continued.

"Or anywhere that ex-cons gather to plan their next adventure" Vienna told everyone with a sigh.

"The sports you see every day and you vow to take them down if you have the time, but we never have the time. So...today we make some" Grey announced to everyone. "Is there a problem, Smitty?" as everyone looked over to Smitty.

Oh, no, sir. I love playing whack-a-mole" Smitty replied sarcastically while the other officers laughed.

"Knock down a problem spot, it can pop back up anywhere, but that's the job, right?" Sergeant Grey questioned, "And since you're so excited about doing it, I think you should share your excitement with Officer West out there today"

"Seriously?" Both officers asked him.

"Yeah, seriously. That means, Lopez, you're with Nolan, okay. Happy hunting out there" Sergeant told the officers, the officers stood up and walked out the room.

"How long do you think until Smitty can retire?" Vienna asked her rookie, Rossi chuckled.

"How old do you think he is?" She questioned, Vienna shrugged her shoulders. "I love your hair"

"Thanks, I found old bottles off hair dye in my cabinets"

"Uh, is that safe?" Rossi asked her, V shrugged. "So where's our problem spot?"

...

"A high school?" Summer questioned as the two sat outside the school in the shop.

"Yeah, you'd be surprised how many teenagers deal drug around here" She sighed taking a sip of her 3rd coffee of the day.

"So, do we just wait until we see a deal go down?" She asked her, Vienna nodded. "Got it"

After a couple hours of waiting Vienna checked her watch 1:24pm, as a kid in a black hoodie stood by the gate.

"This could be something..." Vienna muttered to herself and paused after a man walked over to the kid. "We gonna step out and wait until they walked away, I'll go after the kid, you got after the man" Summer nodded as the two stepped out the car. They watched the two the teen gave the man a bag of white powder. "Go"

"Is there a problem officer?" The teenager asked Vienna as she walked towards him.

"Uh, yeah, what'd you give that man?" Vienna questioned, the kid chuckled.

"Uh, it's my dad's, he asked me to give it to him" He stammered out, she looked at him in disbelief.

"What's your name, kid?" She asked him with a sigh.

"Char- Charlie Evans"

She sighed, "You're gonna have to come with me. Put your hands behind your back"

"Damn it" He mumbled and listened to her as she put him in cuffs.

"Got the guy, uh, he's a teacher at the school" Summer said to her T.O. walking over to her with the guy in handcuffs.

"Oh, wow"

...

After putting Elena to bed and helping Gabriella with her psychics homework, Vienna poured herself a glass of wine and sat down on the couch to binge watch The Walking Dead which she'd been watching since her recovery. She grabbed the remote and was about to press play when there was a knock at the door, she groaned before taking a sip of wine and then answer the door.

"Buck?" She asked opening the door and Buck walked inside. "Uh, is everything okay?"

"We need to talk" Buck told her.

"That's never a good way to start a conversation" She replied sitting on the couch. "So, what's up?"

"Uh, well..." He started and paused scratching the back of his neck nervously. "Umm, w-we need to break up"

Vienna felt her heart shattered as she stared at the blonde confused before she stood up from the couch to look at him. "W-what?"

"I need to focus on getting my job back right now a-and I'm starting a lawsuit..." He started to explain, she swallowed the lump in her throat before speaking.

"So...our relationship is getting in the way of you getting your job back?" She asked him.

"No- That's- I-" He stammered over his words but trailed off before sighing. "I-I'm sorry, V, it's for the better" He told her, avoiding eye contact with the blonde who had tears filled in her eyes. He placed his spare key on the counter and then walked out of Vienna's house closing the door behind him.

Vienna felt tears roll down her cheek as she sat back on the couch and grabbed one of the couch cushions pushing back the urge to cry but could help it and broke down. It felt like her life had fallen apart the last month with the tsunami, spending what to felt like forever at home and now this...
