Living with Angelica wasn't what Violet expected it would be. She thought that she'd end up seeing the very very attractive woman every day and that she'd go crazy but that unfor-fortunately didn't happen. Instead, every morning for a week now she'd walk out of her new temporary room and see a plate of fresh breakfast there waiting for her and a small coloured heart post-it note left for her.

Good morning! I'm sorry we cannot have breakfast together but I had to rush into work. Have a good day :)

Morning, hopefully, you like scrambled eggs <3

Good morning, Violet, thank you for the dinner and note last night, I really enjoyed it.

Good morning! I'm so sorry we keep missing each other but I'll be there for dinner tonight, wait for me?

The latest note brought a huge smile to Violet's face and she couldn't help but let out a small cheer of excitement in the empty condo. Violet was sad that they communicated through post-it notes but she couldn't deny that it also made her stomach swarm with butterflies every time she saw one. She'd repay the favour every night by leaving Angelica some dinner and a note before she retired to her bedroom for the night.

She wondered how Angelica didn't get tired from being out of the house so early and coming back so late but maybe if Violet wasn't worried about looking desperate for human contact she would have stayed up later in the night or woke up earlier for class. But she didn't want to look like a fool to Angelica, despite the girl only being a year older than Violet in age she felt so much wiser and mature and Violet couldn't help but want to impress her.

As she sat on the table to start eating the fresh French toast, her mind was already running wild with all the possibilities of what she could do today. Angelica said she'd be here for dinner and today was a Saturday so Violet didn't have class so she could stay home all day for once.

She had applied to a bunch of jobs in the neighbourhood and she shockingly received a call yesterday from the bar where she met Angelica for a bartender job tomorrow she had an interview so she knew today might be her last day of freedom before school and work completely took over her life so she decided to enjoy the day.

After eating breakfast, she connected her phone to Angelica's Alexa and shuffled her liked songs on Spotify and started by cleaning her dishes and the rest of the kitchen. She found a vacuum in the storage room that Angelica had in her hallway and decided to vacuum the whole house too since she could tell Angelica had been too tired to clean.

The only rooms she didn't enter were Angelica's bedroom and office since she wasn't one to breach someone's privacy especially when they were kind enough to let her stay in their house. When she was done cleaning the bathroom because once she started to clean she couldn't stop until she got everything done, she took a shower.

She changed into one of her shorts and dad's hoodie she had stolen, the smell making her miss home, but she didn't let herself dwell on that thought and instead grabbed her backpack from her bedroom and settled on the carpeted floor of Angelica's living room to do some work.
