Violet

Chapter Fourteen

Angelica woke up with her precious girl softly breathing in her arms and she smiled giddily as the memories of last night rushed in. She had her first kiss last night. At least her first kiss in this lifetime. She still had vivid memories of the dream when Violet kissed her for the first time in their cave. She wanted to be the one to do it this time around and wanted to render her confident girl into a blushing flustered mess. And it worked. Violet froze in shock, her face a bright red before she calmed down and kissed Angelica back.

They stood there for a few minutes gently kissing, getting reacquainted with one another before Angelica pulled away and asked Violet if she wanted to sleep with Angelica again. The younger girl eagerly agreed and the two went to bed with their limbs tangled and their breaths synchronized.

Now that Angelica was awake though she had a lot of work to do. She knew that Violet had to work a four-hour shift at the bar again later tonight since it was Saturday but before that she was free. She was all free for Angelica to take her on the best date she's ever been on. Angelica looked at the clock to see it was 9 am and knowing Violet she would still be asleep for an hour and a half which gave Angelica the perfect amount of time to plan.

She started with a quick shower and changed into one of her fall dresses which was long and red, and she blow-dried her hair which almost took away all her time alone. Then she quickly started making French toast, coffee and strawberries covered in chocolate as she looked up on her phone the best date activity to do in New York. She also made sure to call a nearby flower boutique and place an order for a bouquet of purple peonies. She had never been on a date in her life so this was completely new territory for her but she would rather get hit by a truck than give Violet a bad first date.

When breakfast was done and the delivery for the flowers arrived on her doorstep she realized she was right on time and smiled proudly. Everything was going according to plan.

She quietly padded back into her bedroom and set the tray of food and the flowers aside as she sat down next to Violet's head and started softly running her hand through Violet's hair until she started stirring.

"Hi, sweetheart," Angelica said when Violet opened her eyes and glanced up at Angelica with a tired smile. "Hi, Angie."

"I made you breakfast, wanna get up and eat it?" She asked and the sleep washed away from Violet when she realized that Angelica was dressed and ready for the day and when she saw the food and flowers awaiting her.

"Oh wow." She said with wide eyes as she sat up and Angelica placed the tray on her lap with a nervous smile "This is..wow this is great, thank you so much."

"You're welcome," Angelica replied as she watched Violet take it all in with amazement.

"Are those for me too?" Violet asked in wonderment as she nibbled on the French toast, pointing at the flowers lying on the bedside table and Angelica nodded, picking them up and bringing them to Violet.
