The days following Silco's death were hell on earth for both Piltover and Zaun. Jinx shot a rocket into Piltover, killing half of their council. She hasn't been seen since. This would only add to the opportunities for Zaun except it fucked us over.

Apparently, Vi's enforcer girlfriend is the daughter of a councilor...and yep, you guessed it! Her mom didn't survive the blast. Cait turned into what I always thought she was, another bitch ass pilty eager to destroy Zaun and finding Jinx. And where was Vi during all this? Moping by her side like the spineless traitor she is.

Cait began working with a warmonger from Noxus whose daughter was also a councilor. She survived though so I don't know why the hell that foreigner is still here sticking her nose in our business. The noxian brought soldiers of her own to help the enforcers police Zaun.

I found an informant from Zaun who frequents Piltover to serve some rich guy. I don't ask questions and neither does she and as you can see, our arrangement has been quite beneficial. As I gathered new information on topside's shit show, Ekko and I were able to be better prepared for the war to come.

"Relax, I got you" Ekko chuckled as I stumbled in my walk.

He kept his hands over my eyes as I lightly tugged at them with a smile. He led me through what smelled like his workshop and took a pause.

"Ok now just keep em closed" I heard him say as I felt his hands slip from my face. I squeezed my eyes shut with an excited smile as I heard him rustling and crashing into things. I let out an amused snicker as he laughed through labored breathing.

"Ok...open" He spoke softly as he stood beside me.

I slowly opened my eyes to see his work table completely cleaned off, my metal boots, a small roll of chains, and my tactical belt were the only things sitting atop it. I tilted my head at the sight as I walked closer to get a better look.

I reached for the cold chains, unraveling them to find that there were three of them, aside from my mother's, all attached to their own blade. Each blade was different as one was copper with red slashes across it, another had a silver blade on both ends, the last had a cuff attached to other end of the chain while the chain itself continued further down and lined the blade's edge.

"I-I made them for you" Ekko said nervously as he walked up to me. "With everything that's going on, I thought you might need an upgrade. I left your mom's untouched but I thought I could add a few more weapons. A-and I added some pockets and slots for them on your belt."

"I love it" I said quickly to ease his nerves.

I turned to him, throwing my arms around his neck with a wide smile. He let out a soft chuckle as he embraced me, laying his head on my shoulder.

"Check this out" He spoke as he broke away from me.

He grabbed the copper blade and presented it. I moved closer to get a better look. His hands moved across the front of the blade. I jumped back as the blade quickly split into three.

Ekko handed it to me with a smile. He jumped excitedly as he moved over to the boots.

"And I made a few adjustments and upgrades! You might wanna try them outside though" Ekko chuckled as he picked up the heavy metal. He presented them up to me and began pointing his finger to different spots. "Here, I developed a self tightening mechanism, that way they're easier to maneuver in. And I padded the inside the best I could to make it more comfortable. Oh! And I almost forgot-"

I smiled as Ekko continued to ramble excitedly about all the new features he added. His wide smile and occasional chuckles brought pleasure to my eyes and ears. Ekko noticed my staring and paused to look at me.
