Chapter 4:Execptation

3rd person POV

The morning sunlight filtered through the window, casting a warm glow in Aiko's room. As he sat on the edge of his bed, thoughts from the previous day lingered in his mind. The memory of Aqua's threatening message replayed like a broken record, reminding him of the tense situation they were in.

“Aqua is now aware of what I seek and what are my intentions towards Him and Ruby are... I wonder If he kept It as a secret to Ruby ?" With the thought of the Girl with whom he vowed to support casted into his mind, Aiko let out a sigh before he get up.

“I promise to keep It once I settle Things with the one who caused your death...Ai"

The sound of light foot step reverbereted through the Room, Aiko stood near his laptop before he turn It on.

Aiko POV

The screen turning on, I could see my reflection through the still black screen, my face looked half asleep.

As I finally browsing the Drama title on Amazon Prime, the Screen displayed It's overall info along of the number of episode that has been aired with each ratings and talking About rate, you could say that “Sweet today" 's wasn't rather sweet but harsh.

I finally decided to get a glimpse of one episode to ensure that those ratings weren't from just pure hatred towards the adaptation.

As far as I know, It's a Drama produced by a recently estabilished internet TV station and with already 3 episode out among the 6 planned.

Looking at the cast member, they all seems like newcomer apart of Kana, from that perspective It's a small scale project compared to the Manga being a Pretty famous shojou.

“Do you enjoy going around with that look on your face ?"

I couldn't bear It anymore as I clapped the laptop down with the record of the previous performance still leaving in my mind.

It's far of being unwatchable, I praise their effort to add some of their most original charachter since they use It to promote many young actor... however,Jesus Christ, they butched the whole manga even if fitting 14 volumes into one half-cour is difficult,they should at least put some effort in the Storyline without ruinning the whole Things.

And the most annoying and pissing part is that they used young model which couldn't act at all.

To be honest, It deserve to be categorized as a Total flop.

However, amidst the sea of underwhelming performances, there was one shining beacon of hope: Kana. Her talent and dedication were evident in every scene she appeared in. She brought life and depth to her character, single-handedly salvaging the sinking ship.

It's a shame that her talent is overshadowed by the lackluster performances of the rest of the cast.
It's clear that the director prioritizes looks over talent, compromising the quality of the production.

As I look the watch hanging upside of the fridge I noticed that It was almost Time to meet Aqua and Kana and so I prepared myself before going to the karaoke we choose as appointement.

Aiko sat in the private karaoke room, his anticipation mingling with a sense of unease. The room was dimly lit, with colorful neon lights casting a soft glow over the space. The walls were adorned with posters of famous musicians and bands, adding to the ambiance of the room.
