Chapter 13

We were doing the practice matches again. Karasuno kept losing. I slightly felt bad for them but it is good practice for them. I know and see the talent their team has. Our team was doing okay. Of course we lost and won some. 

It was break time. Everyone was eating watermelon. 

"MMM. First time watermelon tasted so delicious." I said eating my watermelon.

"That's because it's hot out." Kiyoko says laughing at me.

All the managers (minus Heather) and me were talking and gossiping. You know. Tea🍵. While Kaori was telling us about her love life, someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and it was Kuroo. 

"Yes, Testu?" I looked at him with my signature smile.

"Can we talk in private?"

"Sure. Let's go inside the gym then."

We both walked to the gym. Checking to see if people were inside. Seeing that it ws empty, we closed all the doors.

"What did you want to talk to me about?"

"Heather tried to gossip about you still dating Oikawa."

"Why would she do that if they are literally dating?"

"Well, she knew that I have a crush on you. I guess she hoped that I would go against for that. But coming from a drama, lying queen, of course I didn't believed her. After that attempt, I know that she is trying to plot something again. And it will most likely work."

"I see. I should've known this was coming. Why does she hate me so much though? She took my ex and she is the one who's mad at me."

"She's probably still jealous of you for some reason." A voice said from behind us.

I immediately recognized that voice.

"How'd you get in here so quietly Kenma?" I asked turning to look over at him.

"I have my ways. I've been listening to your guys' convo and I have many things and reasons why Heather could be doing those things."

Kuroo smirked at Kenma.

"Kenma is a really good observer. So what he's about to say is true."

"Really? Wow. So what are the reasons?"

"Reason No. 1

1. You are more talented, attractive, and intelligent.

No. 2

2. Everyone likes you better.

No. 3

3. Wants more popularity than you.

No. 4

4. Has the ability to pull people with ease (#rizz).

Lastly No. 5. This one might shock you to be honest.

5. She thinks Oikawa still likes you."

"Wow. Those were legit and understandable reasons. The last reason seems impossible. I'm sorry like there's no way. If he did he would've kept his promise."

"I know it seems that way, Y/n, but I saw the way Oikawa still looks at you. He has those lovey dovey eyes." Kenma says shrugging his shoulders. 

"He has good observation, Y/n. Trust us. The last reason might be true."

"I trust you guys. It's just hard to believe. It won't really matter to me if he still likes me. I gave him so many chances and he just used all of them up."
