The wind howls, freezing everyone with its chilly bite as winter firmly grips Euphoria city. The last month of the year arrives, and every heart anticipates the vacation week and a flurry of snowy days.

Families begin their preparations for New Year's and Christmas Eve, while the city streets slowly transform into a palette of red, white, and gold.

For some, winter is disastrous, a season of heavy snow and sub-zero temperatures. For others, it's a blessing, a time when Mother Earth showers them with her love.

Jin falls squarely into the first category, while Jennie aligns with the latter. This difference in preference perfectly explains the current mood.

Three figures sit in a cozy, aesthetic café, tucked away in a corner at a late table facing the window. Seokjin glares at his sister with fiery eyes, as if she's his sworn enemy rather than his sibling, while she smiles shamelessly back.

"Stop showing your yellow teeth," Jin barks angrily, turning his face away to avoid further irritation.

Jennie giggles and blows her brother a fly kiss. "I love you, Jinno," she says sweetly. Jin pouts, mumbling, "I would love you more if you hadn't forced me out here."

His voice is low, but the two people at the table hear his grumpy tone clearly.
"Hyung, you shouldn't always be stuck inside the house. You need to come out and get a breather sometimes," Jimin says sweetly, and Jennie nods in full agreement.

"Don't like outside without my hubby," Jin mumbles, pouting even more as he rubs his small baby bump. No one would guess he's the eldest, but if anyone mentions it, Jin blames his pregnancy hormones.

"We're not that bad company, Jino," Jennie says. "Don't you love me now that you have your hubby?" she adds with fake sadness.

Jin blinks, shocked, and takes her hands in his. "No, no, baby sis, I love you. You're my pretty angel. You'll always come first," he says, feeling a pang of guilt.

Jennie smiles, her natural gloss shining. "I know, I love you too, Jino. That's why I forced you here. You and the baby need good stimulation, and that can't happen inside the house."

"And anyway, hyung, you had to come out today for your doctor's appointment," Jimin asks, and Jin hums.

He usually has two appointments per month but since his last week reports were not good and its already risky pregnancy, doctor suggests weekly appointment till his condition gets under control again. So here he is, waiting for the time to move fast and be done with appointment already.

"Yeah, I know. I just don't know what's happening to me these days," Jin adds, sighing tiredly.

"It's okay. Don't stress about it. I was worse during my pregnancy," Jennie giggles, remembering the trouble Hoseok faced with her tantrums and cravings.

Jin's eyes soften as his thoughts drift to his husband, his busy husband, whom he hasn't seen properly in days. Namjoon comes home late and leaves early due to an urgent fire case.

Sometimes, Jin wants to tell his husband to quit his job and stay home, but he knows Namjoon loves his work, if not the job, then his country. Jin doesn't want to be the reason Namjoon abandons his passion.
