Gwen regains consciousness and opens her eyes to find herself secured to a table in an unknown house. Caleb is tattooing something on her midsection. The sound of buzzing could be heard in the room as he pressed the needle continuously into her. Gwen looks down to read it: DOD12919.
She groaned feeling dehydrated and in pain. Caleb looks up at her and smiles "You know what this is? Tell me" Gwen glanced down at the permanent mark on her "It's my day of death" she says her voice raspy and her throat hoarse. Her head falls back onto the table as she loses consciousness again.
* Tim woke up to his bed empty the usual spot where Gwen sleeps was cold and empty. Tim had gotten a text message last night that Gwen was staying at Lucy's. Tim was slightly disappointed but didn't say anything back. He figured maybe Lucy was having a rough night.
Tim got out of bed and got ready for the day at the station.
Once he got to the station he immediately spotted Lucy who was coming from the locker room. He walked up to Lucy. He didn't see Gwen or her jeep anywhere.
"Hey Lucy, where's Gwen? Did she come with you?" Tim asked. Lucy shook her head no. Last time Lucy contacted her was before she got into her car.
"No, last time we spoke she texted me that she was going to your house" she said just as confused. Tim pulled out his phone and showed the text message from Gwen that came in at midnight.
"No, we didn't even leave at that time" she said. She was scared of what this meant.
"We need to bring this up to Sergeant Grey. Right now" Tim said. In all honesty Tim was absolutely nervous and scared that something happened to Gwen.
"Sergeant Grey?" Tim called out. Grey nodded allowing him to come into his office.
"Yes Bradford?" He said motioning for him to go on. Tim didn't care at the moment that Grey was going to find out the truth about him and Gwen.
"Gwen, did not come home last night. She's not responding to texts or calls" Tim said he watched as Grey was lost in thought. He needed a minute to process what Tim was talking about.
"she was, uh, heading out to meet up with Lucy at the bar to keep an eye on her while Lucy went on a date with Caleb. She left the house about 8:30, haven't heard from her since" Tim said.
