Gwen had never thought that she would be in the position she was in. She had visioned her self being married with kids, and a country style home with a wrap around porch. That dream was crushed when Gwen was with her abusive ex-boyfriend. She had never thought she would make it out of that stage in her life alive. But she did, moving away from Boston to LA was the best decision Gwen did.
She had a new perspective on life her dream was finally a reality after she left her ex. She had met Tim Bradford, the hard-ass cop from Mid-Wilshire. Who swept her off her feet. Two kids later, a home, and a dog. This was the life that Gwen always wanted. Her inner-child was screaming inside as she had accomplished all of her goals in life. Today was such a special day for both Gwen, and Tim. It was their wedding day. After months of preparation and taking care of Delilah and Ben. The two had finally decided they would do a simple yet elegant wedding.
Her parents had flown in from Boston to be here on her special day. The wedding was set at a beautiful country club that was recommended by Wesley. It was beautifully decorated with bouquets of roses, and different types of flowers that were all in coordination with her color schemes.
Soft music filled the outdoor venue as guests started to arrive. They were given champagne as they all were directed to their seats. Gwen was inside the room dressed in a beautiful lace gown that hugged her figure. The sweetheart neckline has little beads of pearls around the hem. Her hair was beautifully curled with a veil clipped to the back of her head.
Her bridesmaids stood around her in the room as they all watched Gwen step out of the changing room. Angela her maid of honor looked at her and gasped "You look so beautiful, Gwen" she gushes. Gwen smiled "Thank you so much" she says, she could feel her self becoming emotional. She looks over at her bridesmaids.
Lucy, Nyla, and Bailey were dressed in beautiful sage green dresses that complimented their figures. "You look so beautiful Gwen. That dress fits you so well" Lucy compliments. Gwen smiles feeling her eyes water "Thank you guys. You all look so beautiful" she says admiring her bridesmaids. She looks over at Lucy "Is Tamara with Benjamin and Delilah?" She asks. Lucy nods her head "Yes, she's sitting with Luna" she tells her.
Gwen nods her head and hears the music begin to play. This was the bridesmaids cue to walk down the aisle. Guests were already seated as they waited for Gwen to come out. Gwen looks over at her bridesmaids and gives them a wide smile "Well, I'll see you guys out there" she says. She grabs her bouquet that was sitting on the table. They all look over at her and give her a hug "I'll see you out there" Angela says to her.
Once the room was empty Gwen takes a deep breath and holds her bouquet in her hands. She begins to feel anxious as she steps out of the room. Her father was waiting for her at the end of the hallway in front of the large double doors. Just outside Tim was waiting for her.
