** The day was finally here and many emotions were felt throughout the home. Gwen's scheduled C-Section was today. She was an anxious mess as she finished packing her hospital bags. Tim had just gotten back home as he dropped off Benjamin and Remy with Nolan and Bailey. Who were more than happy to help them.
Tim walks over to Gwen who was finishing packing up her baby bag.
"Are you okay baby?" He asks her. He could sense her stress as she looked over her bag a couple of times. She looks over at him as she was dressed in a comfy lounge outfit.
She sighs "I'm okay, I can't lie about being anxious. But, I know everything will be okay" she tells him. She zips up the bag as she's sure that everything is in there.
Tim leans down and pecks her lips "Let's go have a baby" he says to her softly. Gwen nods her head with a smile feeling her eyes well up in tears.
Tim carries the bags and the new car seat to his truck. Gwen places a hand for support underneath her bump as she follows Tim outside.
The drive to the hospital was quiet but comforting. Both, Gwen and Tim were thinking about how different their lives would be. Gwen would have two babies under 2. While Tim never imagined he would even be a father.
Gwen looked down at her phone seeing the text messages pop up from her friends/colleagues. Many support messages from Angela, Lucy, Tamara, Thorsen, and Grey. They were all so happy for the couple.
Gwen just couldn't believe she was having another baby, and getting married in the summer. It all seemed so surreal to her.
Tim looked over at Gwen sensing that she was thinking. He placed a hand on her stomach as she snapped out of her thoughts.
"What are you thinking about?" He asks her. "Just how different our lives are about to be. We're going to have two babies under two, and getting married in a few months. It doesn't feel real" she says to him.
Tim nods his head agreeing with her. Things were going to get different in their family. But, Tim was ready "I know, but it's all going to be fine." He reassures her.
Gwen nods his head and the rest of the drive is filled with a comfortable silence.
** Once they get to the hospital Gwen is admitted into the maternity ward. She is dressed in a hospital gown, fuzzy socks, with an IV attached to her hand. She wasn't scheduled for her C-Section for another couple of hours so she had time to mentally prepare her self.
