"Dino's... Dead?" Nadwe gasped.

Meme nodded, "I found his skull back where Muffin was er-" a quick glance towards the teen behind Nadwe who always seemed smaller then he was, "-yeah. There."

"That musta been why there was blood!" Nadwe shouted, "ugh- if only we went back to check-! I'm sorry-"

Meme put a hand on Nadwe's shoulder, "it's not your fault. We were all occupied with capturing L4FF and dealing with the corpses we knew where they were, we all just assumed Dino got away from the danger the second he could. Especially with the fact half of us thought he killed Socks."

Woolf glanced down to the side at his missing hand. He never should have suspected him. And now he's gone.

"...So what do we do now?" Blaza asked.

"We have another funeral. What else do we do?" Meme said, "L4FF can never take anything from us ever again. We just need to... Celebrate who we still have. What we still have. We still have each other and the memories we made, he can't take that away from us no matter how hard he tries."

"We found Dino," Meme leaned against the prison walls.

"And? Why bring that up to me?" L4FF said.

"...What was your plan with him? Why kill him. Didn't you hurt us enough?" Meme hissed.

"Why would I tell you that?"

"Curiosity. You're curious what I'll do to you if you tell me."

L4FF smiled, although Meme couldn't tell, "youse bring up a good point. Simple, I wanted to get rida him. He started piecing together that ya were right to single me out as the only one who coulda done that. He confronted me, he was prepared for a fight but he didn't know how I killed Socks so he wasn't prepared for that. A quick beheading, that's all it took. I figured if I got rid of him before he told anyone, I could insist he ran away because of guilt, I didn't expect Woolf to make it long enough for him to tell you, I thought he would have died from the bloodloss far before that point. Dino was the only other loose end. It was a good plan, no one else had a clue," L4FF sighed,

"Our lives aren't a toy for you to play with," Meme bit. He took a deep breath and sighed, "whatever. I'm not going to hurt you. After all, you'll probably take the first opportunity to escape." And that would reveal how truely weak L4FF made Meme.

"Why would I? I lost the game."

Meme couldn't put up with him any longer. He stretched his back and started walking up the stairs-

"None of the buttons did anything."

"Eh?"

"The one's Nadwe picked. He pressed the black one, didn't he? None of them would have done anything. I was hoping you would give me more time to prepare but it seems I was wrong."

Meme pondered that for a second. It seemed L4FF didn't know all of their plans.

"Why did it take so long for you to tell me?"

"I didn't matter in the end, did it?"

Oof had a basic layout for the new design, and Woolf enjoyed watching the young man at work. A simple task. One that only made him think about the events six months ago far more then what was healthy.

Why did he single out Dino? Was it because he didn't come? Oompa said he also didn't get invited, and showed up because someone told him to. No one suspected Oompa. That proves some invites were missing (which was eventually figured out by everyone who wasn't Tbh to be due to the server crash, and how it took everyone a bit longer to log back in. Meme must have missed both of them) and he would have had no time to prepare, since he didn't even know it was happening.

Or was it because him and Dino weren't good friends to begin with. He started with Dino, but the only other reason anyone joined him was because no one could believe it was Laff.

Obviously they were wrong, and they couldn't do anything about their past actions, but for a second Woolf considered if he was right before shaking his head. Dino didn't deserve that thought.

"It's nice, isn't it?" a voice asked. Woolf jumped up, before reconciling the familiar voice. Meme.

"Yeah," Woolf agreed. Still, six months reminded Woolf of a few other things.

"Ah, well, this might be a little weird but... Tbh did tell me to tell you something. I didn't because, well, it was a bit weird and then we were all trying to not die and stuff."

"What?"

"He... He wanted to say that he liked you. He told me that right before he died," Woolf sighed.

It felt like a weight lifted off his chest.

"...Really? I thought I was just projecting," Meme leaned back on the chair and laughed, "around the time I met Wictoria, I liked him too. But then Wictoria asked me out and I did like her so I just decided to... Suck it up. Just hoped to grow out of it because I was a coward. And look how things turned out for us, he's dead and I have a family."

Woolf was a little surprised, but not that surprised. Meme and Tbh were close.

"That said, I was looking for you. You did insult my 'different kind of adoption' so I decided to run this by you first. Woolf, can I adopt you?"

"Muffin! Gimme the binoculars!" Nadwe turned back into his human form and fell on Muffin.

"Wha- Hey! You don't wanna see this, trust me," Muffin scolded. Nadwe took them from him anyways.

"That's Woolf's adoption papers!" Nadwe gasped, "you realise this is a big deal, right??" Muffin backed up.

"Nad..."

"That's it! I gotta do something about this!" Nadwe groaned, "do you think I can eat it-"

Muffin shook his head.

Still, as much as Nadwe hated the thought (especially while hiding behind Sock's statue) he did know only one person who could give him advice to help him get rid of Woolfster. Not for good, just get him out of HIS life and HIS family.

Maybe he did have to talk to L4FF. It wasn't like he was going to listen to him. Maybe he could stop him! Yeah! that would make Meme proud of him! Maybe if he was lucky he would forget all about adopting Woolf and only think about how great he is!
