Deep breath in.

Deep breath out.

Deep breath in.

Deep breath out.

Muffin was alone, which was fine. Alone meant he couldn't get in trouble. Alone meant L4FF couldn't find him.

Alone meant he was the only one who noticed the chat disable.

That was fine though. If he just didn't move, if he didn't scream, he would be fine. Laff couldn't hurt him if he was being good. Laff couldn't...

He grabbed his hat from his head, he couldn't remember how Nadwe got it. Maybe he stole it, he should give it back. Stealing is wrong, stealing is wrong, stealing is...

He heard the door creak open. He didn't look up. He couldn't move.

"Hey, Muffin," Laff said.

"I- I tried to stop him! I just couldn't... I-" Muffin stuttered. He tried to stop Nadwe. Laff couldn't blame him, it wasn't his fault!

But he didn't try hard enough. He had to try harder. Next time if there was a next time.

"I'm sor-"

"Come along, Muffin. Youse know what youse have to do," Laff said. Muffin sighed and looked up. Laff was cold and metallic. L4FF. Right.

Muffin stood up, his hands clenched almost to the point that they drew blood.

He opened his mouth to protest before remembering. This was his fault. If only he stopped Nadwe, he wouldn't be in this situation.

L4FF opened the door and Muffin walked through it. He felt L4FF's cold hand in his back.

"Move."

Muffin nodded and compiled. He knew the way. He exited his house. It was still drizzling a bit, but it was more refreshing rather than bothering him. He sighed and followed along the path.

"I-"

Muffin was cut off by L4FF's glare. That's fine. He deserved that. He continued on to the caves near L4FFs house. He didn't want to continue. But he had to he had to he had to he had to...

He stopped right in front of the cave. He tried to will his legs forward but they wouldn't move. He was terrified.

The hand on his back seemed to relax and become more comforting. But it was still cold.

"Muffin, you know what you have to do."

He had to run. That's what he had to do. He tried to run but the grip once again tightened.

No no no no no no no no no no no nono nonononononononono-

He took a step forward. He didn't know whether he wanted to move forward or if that was something else. He took another step, he barely felt his bare feet hit the ground. It all just felt so distant. L4FF smiled.

"There you go," L4FF said. He knew there was a room hidden behind one of those rocks, but he couldn't remember which. L4FF knew though. L4FF broke some of the walls and Muffin peaked inside.

It was dark. It wasn't dark last time. Last time it was a blinding white. It was so white he couldn't think. And now it wasn't.

"I figured it needed a change, so I redecorated. Why don'ts youse take a look." It wasn't a question, it was a command. Muffin went inside. He braced himself for the door to slam behind him. That's what happened last time. He looked behind him and saw L4FF standing there, in the doorway. L4FF's eyes glowed, lighting up the room at least a little. Still, he couldn't see anything.
