This is a highschool AU, similar to the Lego Ninjago Movie. But in this case, the plot is different and the ninja don't know each other's identity.

Garmadon is not a villian in this AU, however, he remains an Oni but he went missing before Lloyd was even born. The ninja did not discover their powers until Master Wu came up to them, individually.
Some of the characters may be out of character, but think of it as a different personality because of AUs.
