Cole had his headphones on as usual while he sat on the bed. He glanced towards his desk. A familiar red jacket spred out on his desk.

Cole sighed. Kai had snuck into his room last night, he couldn't bring himself to face him all day. He had heard from Nya that Kai had gotten himself into trouble again. He chuckled, typical Kai.

But then there was the kiss. Three kisses, to be exact. Kai lunged at him first, it had caught him off guard. But if he had to be honest, Cole enjoyed it. He never considered if he had feelings for anyone, although everyday he would have to go through the screams of his fangirls at school. Unlike Kai, he kept himself single. He had thought Skylor would be the perfect match for Kai, but it suprised him when they announced they had broken up a few weeks after. Even so, he never imagined Kai would actually go after a...boy. His best friend. What was Kai thinking?

Cole blushed and took out his phone. He had avoided looking at Kai's messages all day too, if he had sent him any, that is.

Kai: Hey uhm, I couldn't find you anywhere in school today. Can we please talk?

Cole stared at the message for a split moment. Then he bit his lip and typed something in.

Cole: Sorry, I was busy with the softball team.
(Now)

He lied.

Cole: But sure, we can talk. When?
(Now)

Cole let out a slight breath. Then he heard a click from his left.

"Now," Kai climbed in and closed the window behind him. Cole widened his eyes at the sight of the boy who had kissed him last night.

"We can talk, now," Kai brushed off some dust off of his shirt. He glanced at the red jacket lying on Cole's desk.

"Yeah, sure. You left your jacket here, by the way.." Cole's voice trailed off. His heart was about to burst into sprinkles.

"I know, I figured I'd retrieve it today. But that's not why I came," Kai didn't grab the jacket, he set himself beside Cole while he took off his headphones.

Kai took a low breath and stared at Cole. In truth, he was just about as nervous as him.

"So....I wanted to talk about what I did last night..." Kai looked away but Cole remained his eyes locked onto him.

"Oh..yeah..right, that," Cole chuckled nervously.

"Look, if you're disgusted, it's okay. I was practically going through some things and I guess I needed comfort. But I went a little too far. I understand if you are-"

Cole grabbed Kai's hand. He flinched.

"No, I'm not disgusted. I guess that's why I didn't exactly.....resist,"

It took Kai a while to realise what Cole had just said. What he had meant.

"Wait, so, you're.....what?" Kai's tongue seemed to suddenly twisted itself into five knots. He could see Cole's face heating up into a bright shade of red, despite him having a darker skin tone than Kai.

Cole couldn't think properly, his mind began replaying what happened last night again and he was breathing heavily. He let out an annoyed groan and pulled Kai in for a fourth kiss.

"Mmph..!!"

And then everything else didn't mattered. It was just the two of them, in a messed up room, sitting on a bed and practically kissing, maybe enjoying it too.

"Mhm....haa," Kai broke the kiss.

"D-do you understand now?" Cole looked away, his face must've boiled to at least a hundred degrees.
