Fu Xioazen wondered why Bai LanLan was suddenly lost in thought. But was hesitant to ask because she knew Bai LanLan had lost her memories, and even before they weren't really close.
LanLan herself too, had many questions for Fu Xioazen but knew that she would sound crazy if she sounded them out.
She can't ask about things that haven't happened!
Her thoughts were interrupted though by the arrival of their homeroom teacher, Mr. Zheng Ping. Mr. Zheng is a 29 year old teacher who is very popular with the students. This is because he is a very patient teacher, and he looks very dignified and decent.
Noticing that Bai LanLan has come to school again. Mr. Zheng urged the class to celebrate her return, and to help her catch up with the classes and lessons.
Fu Xioazen was especially supporting of this. Her enthusiasm was shown with how bright her eyes were, and how she nodded her head continually.
Mr. Zheng finally started the class. LanLan was nervous because although she'd been a great student when in her past life, they do say that provinces are small ponds. It might be that at a city level her intelligence was just average.
Her mood was not dampened though. As a supposed 2nd year college student, she will not give up on highschool which she had already graduated from.
But LanLan's worries were unwarranted as she find that she could actually understand and memorize things quickly. It would seem that Bai LanLan's intelligence in the novel were still granted to her despite the soul being different.
Because of these traits, LanLan did not have a hard time adapting to school. Fu Xioazen even praised her for catching up so fast.
The day ended like this, with Bai LanLan studying seriously and Fu Xioazen helping her.
This image was what Bai Ryu saw when he entered his sister's room. Surprising him greatly. Although his sister was highly intelligent, she'd never been a diligent student so her scores was always average. More than enough to pass, but nothing so outstanding.
Seeing her actually study is a bit unfamiliar to Ryu. But he was happy this sister of his became sensible at last.
The Bai family had always been a family of excellence. And though they weren't pressuring Bai LanLan, Ryu personally, was disappointed that his sister was willing to be mediocre.
In this aspect both LanLans' are the same. Bright but non diligent students.
The other similarity is that they're both stubborn, and once they decided to do something they'll do it full of effort and come out excellent.Bai LanLan despite her rather carefree nature in the novel, was excellent enough to be guaranteed a spot in the prestigious university in the Capital without even using her name. And LanLan despite a procrastinator, was an exemplary student through and through.
Bai Ryu despite not actually wanting to disrupt the unusual image of his sister, decided to knock on the door to get their attention. It was close to 7 pm now, early evening, and their mother is waiting and worrying for Bai LanLan.
The two girls both looked up seeing Bai Ryu. Ryu indicated a hand to say 'let's go,' and LanLan nodded at him.
There were still a few students in the class because of after school classes, which is 8-9. Bai LanLan should actually be part of the remedial classes since she missed a lot. But Mrs. Bai asked that she takes it in their home instead, because of Bai LanLan's memory loss and accident.
A few of the students were watching the two Bai's interaction with Fu Xioazen and concluded in their hearts.
Ai~ it's really nice to see beautiful people get along. Visual is truly strength!
