LanLan, to escape from having to face Mr. Bai head on makes an excuse that she felt unwell to go down. Mrs. Bai sent up her dinner instead.

Though LanLan does feel guilty about lying, she really doesn't want to get indigestion again.

Looking at the food infront of her...Yup, it'd be a waste if I couldn't enjoy this authentic Chinese dinner because I am too nervous.

LanLan a foodie dug in, taking care to slowly eat this time, to savour the flavor as well as to not get a stomache like last time

After eating she gave her tray to the maid, and washed up to prepare for sleep.

She thought about reading those binders Fu Xioazen has given her. But being a notorious procrastinator, she didn't really want to study so she opened the pink one instead where it contained the ✨tea✨ according to Fu Xioazen.

Flipping the first few pages, LanLan was already scandalized.

" Eh? What do you mean Jiang family master got his niece's friend pregnant? His niece her friend are 16? This is pedophilia?!"

" What do you mean the Zhang Family got caught taking w€€d in school? And they're STILL in school?"

Crime after crime was in those pages. Theft, vandalization, money laundering.

What the hell, I didn't get transmigrated to a political drama right? As far as I know it's only a dog-blood rich man poor girl drama.

Flipping to the last page, LanLan finally erupted.

" WHAT THE HELL DOES IT MEAN THAT WE HAVE AN F4? THIS ISN'T METEOR GARDEN!"

It has pictures and police accounts, and all? Did she hire a private investigator to compile this?????

Is this legal? Oh my gosh I have to hide this, what if someone finds out I have all this information, I'll get killed!

LanLan hurriedly put the binder inside her lingerie drawer. No one will think I'm hiding someone under these.

She tried to calm herself but the thought of all those things of her mind kept her up all night. She even got nightmares of someone sending an assassin after her. Which was ridiculous as she was currently Bai LanLan, and she had bodyguards everywhere she goes.

Getting startled so much, coupled with a sleepless night, LanLan actually did get sick.

This is karma for my lies. LanLan cries pitifully, her head feels like it has its own separate heart beating inside it.
Mrs. Bai was very worried and sent so many specialist to examine her, but she's just got a common cold.

LanLan reassured Mrs. Bai, that she should go and attend the brunch with the wives of executives of the company.

Mrs. Bai fussed over her, but she put her foot down at being hand fed, she argued that she was now 15, halft an adult.

After eating by herself she took medicine and was advised to stay at home and recuperate. She finally convinced Mrs. Bai to go. She then sleeps.

A few hours later, hunger awoke her.
As she was not really used to ordering somebody, she decided to not call on the maids, and get down to get food instead. She just had a cold, she isn't an invalid.

Which turned out a complete mistake, because as she was sneakily ( why would you even sneak food, it's your house? ) ate a peanut butter sandwich, Mr. Bai strolls in and makes eye contact with her.
