LanLan was very tired. It was her first time riding a plane—who knew that your ears could pop?—and jetlag was a real thing? She slept as soon as she got in the car.

When she awoke they were already heading to the villa and LanLan brightened up seeing the house. LanLan sat up at excitement. IT'S A MINI CASTLE! The Mansion at the capital was opulent as expected, but the villa looked straight out of a fairytale. And it had always been LanLan's dream to live in a castle.

The villa was surrounded by a mini forest and there was even a small pond next to it with koi darting around the lily pads. This is the second time LanLan got excited over her transmigation. She was almost bouncing out of her seat.

The Family of three got off the car and headed to the villa. They were greeted by three caretakers, and a chef they personally hired for this trip. The inside of the house was as fairytale like as the outside. Eggblue walls, porcelain trinkets, paintings of fruits and flowers, delicate glass chandeliers. And LanLan was surprised to find a family portrait in the middle of the hall.

LanLan was shown the way to her room and to her delight, her room had one of the castles "towers," and even had a window nook seat! Like Sofia had in Sofia the first! LanLan left the unpacking to the maids. And directly laid on that window nook seat. Ah, I had always dreamed about it, fate really, really is mysterious.

When LanLan was awoken by the maid, it was time for dinner. Her suitcase was fully unpacked, and even her charger and hair blower was put on the vanity table. She thanked the maid, and changed. When LanLan went down, Mrs. Bai was currently arranging the dishes on the table.

When she sat down, LanLan felt that the three of them had never been this intimate during mealtime. Back at the capital they naturally dined at the long table, with maids that attended to their every needs. But here there was only a medium sized table fit for four.

The dishes were fewer and Mrs. Bai was personally putting food on both their plates. It was a nice change, and she appreciated another thing about coming to this villa.

" Little sister, go with me later to buy fireworks for tomorrow. We'll also stop by the bazaar to buy new year lanterns." Riyu said, LanLan just nodded, wanting to explore the city.
