Amielya
Daggers in hand, I scanned the shadows and tree tops, Cynthia’s back pressed against mine. My wolf growled to be let out, hatred boiling in my veins.
“Just like old times, huh?” Cynthia laughed blue sparks lighting the clearing. I just shook my head, as I flipped a dagger around, the cold blade digging in, before letting it sail through the air and dig itself into a nearby tree. A low growl erupted from the shadows.
Mind not throwing daggers? I like my face. A voice hissed in my mind.
“Then maybe you should stop hiding around…you got Cyn here excited for nothing.” I laughed, as Cyn deflated.
“Is that Daniel? Please tell me, for his sake, that is not Daniel.” A light brown wolf stepped out, multiple others filing behind warily. The wolf bowed his head low, daring a small glance at Cyn, just to have her snarl.
“Mommy! Mommy!” A gorgeous little black haired green eyed angel ran out of the shadows and straight into my arms.
“Hey sweetie, what are you doing here so early?” I asked, smoothing her silky hair back, keeping panic at bay.
“Bad guys, mommy.” She whispered. I hug her to my chest, glaring at Daniel.
“What happened Danny? Everything, now.” I growled. My wolf itched to get out…to protect what was hers. Whoever attacked her…our family and pack will regret ever living. Daniel quickly shifted, dressed in a white wife beater and black jeans
“Rouges attacked shortly after you, Ava and Cyn left. They wanted Voleta and Alexandria. We were able to keep her safe, but Alina and a few pack pups. We came here as fast as we could.” Daniel rushed out.
“Alexandria!! Where is Alexandria!?” I started to panic, my blood running cold. I need my daughter, I need to make sure my other angel is okay.
If those filthy sorry excuses of wolves so much as touch a golden thread of hair on Alexandria, I will shred them to pieces! My wolf snarled, pushing against my control.
STOP!! You taking over is not going to help anything, relax. I said back, softly.
RELAX?! They took my pup! Her whine ringing towards the end.
And my daughter, so relax
“Ev, your brother is on his way!” Cyn said her hands sparking blue again. Seeing my confused look she rolled her eyes and pointed to Daniel. “Avery.” Before I could open my mouth, growling echoed through the thick forest.
Can nothing ever go right today?!

“You never should have run out like that! Especially when it’s getting dark outside, what is wrong with you?” Jayce growled. Ever since Jayce bursted into the clearing with backup he had chaticed me about going out alone in the forest. Luckily he didn’t remember it was my wolf who attacked him, and hadn’t heard a word we had talked about in the clearing. His tone was pissing off my wolf even worse, though. All she wanted to do was rip up the rouges that took her girl limb by limb as they begged for mercy. I squeezed Voleta’s small hand for comfort, as we made our way back to the house.
