"Who is Catherine?"  She asked jealously as she snarled the name.  She was the reason I lost a father and brother.  She was the one at fault and now she won't even let me talk to my father and brother without interupting, both of who I haven't seen in 13 years I may add.

"She is Jayce's and Amielya's mother.  My first wift...BEFORE I meet you."  He whispered to her, kissing her lovingly.  I dropped my head, not wanting to see my father act that way with a woman clearly NOT my mother.  Cyn took my hand for comfort, and as I looked down I saw her hand glowing a slight blue.  I glance up and give her a small sad smile.  Trying to cheer me up with a little magic I guess.

"When?"  He asked as he turned back to me.  I closed my eyes as they filled with unshed tears.  I WILL NOT CRY!!  I urged myself.

"WHEN?!"  He asked again half yelling, but I just kept my head down trying to get a hold of myself.  He growled as he took a step toward me.

"FATHER!"  My brother hissed as he stepped in front of me protectively, taking a deep breath I look up to see him and my father staring each other down.

"13 years ago." I whispered.  My brother turned to face me as everyone stared incredulously, well except for Cynthia and Avery.

"W-What?"  My father stuttered.

"I said 13 years ago."  I hissed out angrily.  Cyn squeezed my hand reassuringly.

"How?  Why?  What happened?!  When exactly?"  He asked one after another.

"A few months after you left for-for...that," I hissed jerking my chin in HER direction causing my father to growl, but I ignored him and continued, "after she was...after she...afterward it was just me...and Cyn.  We decided it would be best to go looking for you.  we thought it would be easy...you know because surely after not getting any news from mother you would get worried and go looking for me and her.  Boy was I naive, even for a freaking 4 year old, to actually think you would be looking for me!  HA!  For 13 years I was out alone looking for food and shelter...for you!  But I can see why you left the way you did...why you never truly wrote and it was just mother faking it for my sake.  Because you have a NEW family...one that is obviously much more important than me and mother ever were.  You just took Jace and left.  I hope it was fucking worth it asshole!!"  I shouted running out with Cyn, Avery and Jace hot on my heels, and my father yelling after me.

I bolted into the forest behind the pack house, tears finally finding their way down my face.

"Amielya!"  Jace shouted from behind me, but I ignored him and kept running like hell itself was after me.

JACE

"Amielya!!"  I kept shouting trying to run after her, to no avail.

Damn she freakin' fast.  My wolf huffed.

Running as fast as my wolf can, I heard someone running behind me, but had no intention of slowing down to look.  The person didn't seem hostile and they were light, most likely one of her friends.

As I continued to run, I suddenly lost sight of Amielya and I was about to go follow her scent, when a small cold hand flashed out and took hold of my arm.

-----------------------------I was going to stop there, but I'm going to be nice :P------------------------------------

 JAYCE

I growled as I spun around, twisting the arm of my attacker along with me...but it was already gone.  I looked up from my...lone...arm to see Amielya's friend......ahh what was her name.

Cyn!  My wolf cried out joyously.

"Why the hell did you stop me?!  These woods are full of dangers...especially at night, and to mention she is human!"  I hissed out.  My wolf may be happy, but I need to make sure my sister is okay before anything else.

"Because she needs time alone, and she can handle herself perfectly fine, thank you very much."  She glared, her eyes a violent shade of blue.

"Look, I understand you know her longer than I have, but pardon me if I don’t take your word for it.  I lost her once already; I’m not planning on losing her again."  I half whisper as I turned back around to follow her scent.
