I was planning on making it longer, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to leave you with a cliff hanger......Sorry.  I will upload again soon now that finals are over :)

ALSO VERY IMPORTANT   I know I haven't been uploading as often as I should so I'm thinking of adding a special chapter for you guys explaining Amielya's past as an apology.  If you are interested in that kind of thing please comment or message me; I will have it up soon depending on how you guys feel about it

Amielya

Amielya…?  A soft whisper crossed my mind.  The voice was nothing like it used to, it sounded sad and utterly exhausted.

Alina?  Are you okay?  Where you guys?  I responded via pack link, turning my back to Cynthia and Avery.

You shouldn’t have come…they are much too powerful.

The rouges?  It’s clear Jace’s pack is winning the fight, Alina.

Not the rouges, darling…the witches.

I stumbled back a step in shock.  The witches were behind the kidnapping of Alex?  A growl ripped through me, drowning out Avery’s frantic whispers with Cynthia.  My life can be considered forfeit to the hands of those monsters, but the second they even thought of my girls they are dead.

Alina.  Where are you?  I growled through the link, my whole frame shaking as I struggled to stay in control.  It felt like hours before a soft whisper drifted through my thoughts.

Basement.

I took off into the house at a neck breaking speed, killing any rouge that was in my way.  With just the mere thought of Alexandria, and of all the kidnapped pack members locked up with those worthless animals made me push harder through the mass of bodies.  The echo of Avery’s gun and Cynthia’s chanting the only indication that they were following.  Dead bodies fell to the ground with a resolved thud as their spirits were whisked away.  This place was as much of a gift as it was a curse; seeing what once used to be a body becoming nothing more than an empty shell.  And any other time I would think twice before killing with no mercy.

Putting all my power into it, I kicked down the weakly barricaded door to the house, the stench of death and blood uniquely the rouges hung thick in the air.  Each werewolf has their own scent that’s based on their soul; the more innocent and pure the werewolf the sweeter the scent.  Each rouge’s scent is their own, but the more they kill the less distinctive their scent gets.  The only thing that smelled significantly different in the stench was an even more foul scent.  A scent that I have come to know quite well.

Gabriel

I silently followed the three women as they busted into the rouge house, curious as to what they were planning…well more like what the leader of the three was planning.  The green haired woman I learned was called Cynthia and Avery were following the snowy white haired woman as she ran around rather hysterically, searching for something she clearly could not find.  I did my best to protect Avery and her friend Cynthia, but it didn’t seem like they needed the help as Cynthia fought the rouges closest to the two of them and Avery the ones further away.  It also helped that none of the wolves could see them, of course.

I quickly grabbed hold of one of the humans that was barreling their way to Avery, a harsh growl making its way through my throat, ready to snap his neck when a bullet whizzed past my head and into the wall behind me.  I looked up at a furious looking Avery my eyes wide, with what was clearly a confused look on my face.

“That’s a friend.”  She answered my silent question.  Quickly I released him, ignoring his now frantic movements.  Avery and Cynthia finally made it into the house after the snowy haired woman, before she yet again dashed off with a growl.  This time Cynthia growled just as harsh.

‘I can’t believe that slippery bastard is still alive!”  She snarled to no one in particular as she sped up.

This can’t be good.

Part 3

Amielya

Drifting back I cut my way through the enraged rouges, paying any wounds no mind.  I had one thought in my mind and for once it was not Alexandria.  After what felt like an eternity, I reached the living room where the stench was strongest.  Sure enough the rouge bastard was lounging on the couch.

“I knew you would come, I just didn’t expect it so quick.  I must say your control has improved greatly.”  He chuckled, a bitter tone coating his words.

“You should have died years ago and yet here you are, cheating death.  Not this time.”  I snarled at him, feeling Cynthia and Avery drifting to my side.

“Ah finally.  Now that we are all here we can start…boys.”  He cheered, clapping his hands twice at the command.  The rouges nearest them stalked closer, their teeth bared and form bent, ready to attack.  They never got the chance, though.  Wolves came barreling in jumping them with ease.  Using the distraction to my advantage I grabbed Avery’s arm before she could reload her gun.

“Follow me, quick.  Cynthia you deal with that bastard as you see fit.  And try not to give my brother a heart attack.”  I chuckled dryly as I rushed past.

“Why are you taking me?”  Avery asked, shocked yet quickly following.

“Alexandria looks up to you.”  I answered with a shrug.  It was true, but definitely not the reason.  I didn’t want her to hear what that bastard was going to say.  I know that he is going to reveal my past if given the chance and Avery already had enough to resent me for.  “Come on down here.”

-.-.-

We made it to the basement with very little resistance.  It seems the rouge leader didn’t think we would get this far, or that we would be too late.

“Alina?  Alex?!”  I called out as I reached the last step into the dark room.  Groans echoed throughout, giving us no sense of direction.  I turned to Avery.

“See if you could find a light switch.”  She nodded, and disappeared into the darkness.  Quickly, I let my nose lead the way.  It took some time before I finally stumbled over what felt like a limb.  I dropped down on my knees and slid my hand over what felt like an arm.  Reaching the persons neck, I pressed two fingers to the side in search of a pulse.  It was faint, but the person was still alive.  Taking a calming breath I touched their forehead, mine, than back to theirs.  I felt my chest burn as I took some of the pain away.  I stopped at the sound of faint panting.

“Found it!”  Avery shouted, before I could speak.  Sharp growls and painful groans echoed through the room as the light was turned on.  “Sorry!”  Avery called out.  Shaking my head with a small smile I looked down at the person I was holding.
