"Congratulations my dear." Her Mum, Sarah, said.

"Thank you ma." Christiana replied with a smile on her. She had been hired by Nivea to be their content writer and she was over the moon excited. She was also paid to recommend their products on her blog too.

They had noticed how much she talked about loving your skin and gave tips for the type of creams to use and they noticed how much engagement she got.

"That means we will be getting free products?" Jasmine asked excitedly and Christiana hummed answering.

"I will send some products and I will be coming soon too for a meeting with them." Christiana said and from the other line Sarah and Thomas looked at each other.

"Yayyy, I want new clothes and bags too so... I love you sissss." Jasmine said making Christiana laugh and her getting a hit on her back, "ow."

"Folake, we will talk to you soon... We are really proud of you. Bring your millionaire Yoruba Boyfriend when you're coming." Sarah said.

"Why did you describe him like that?" Christiana chuckled making them laugh too.

"I need to emphasize o." Their mum, Sarah, was from Delta woman who got married to a Yoruba Man and was raised in Yoruba land.

They exchanged goodbyes and 'I love you's before she hung up.

Christiana smiled reading each message but stopped when she opened James' message. It's been a week and she had distanced herself from him not exactly distanced but she decided to be petty and return the same energy.

Her phone rang and she watched it until it stopped. Afterwards she put her phone on DND then chuckled at herself for doing that. She tossed her phone to the side before opening her laptop and going to finish her work.

"Knock! Knock!" She heard knocks on her door so she stood up going to check.

"Delivery for Mrs Folake Adesanya?" The delivery man asked with an attitude bringing out his phone to call her number. Christiana scrunched her face before nodding.
