"My dad was so happy to see me. I should go home more I swear. My mum? She cooked like we were expecting plenty people. It was nice, Ebube and his babymama were there too." Chidera gisted her as they were on group video call.

"Awww, we are still going clubbing though. You guys should come to Lagos!" Aishat answered.

"We will then travel to Mauritius." Chidera danced. Tiana just smiled thinking of what to wear for the business dinner she was attending with James tonight.

"Christiana why are you so quiet?" Aishat asked.

"I'm going with James to one business dinner and I am thinking of something to wear." She answered placing her phone on her dresser checking through her cupboard.

"Wear that black gown you got from me last week. It's not short, it's covering and with all your accessories it will look good." Dera told her.

"Mmmm, I have not even opened it. Thank you." She opened the bag.

"Thank you guys for the gift though."Chidera said giving them a warm smile. "Anything for my wifey." Aishat winked making Chidera give her a flirty look before they bursted out laughing.

"Odes." Tiana chuckled at them now looking for accessories.

And I have something to show you guys." Dera brought out the diamond necklace Daniel gave her. Aishat gasped.

"No way, Tiana see how it's shinning." Aishat said admiring it. "How much did you get it?" Aishat asked.

"Daniel gave it to me." Their eyes widened.

"Daniel?" Tiana and Aishat asked at the same time.

"When?How? Why?" Aishat bomarded her with questions. Chidera explained the whole night to them in details.

"Ouuu, angry sex " Aishat said eating a nylon of biscuit.

"Then ended with calmness and eating." Chidera told them bitting her bottom lip smiling. "I see you boo." Tiana said chuckling.

"Awww, what about that Doyin girl?" Aishat asked since they had told her about Doyin.

"I don't know. We really did not talk but like since he still came to see me that night, she's obviously not important." Dera stated with a shrug.

"Dera's life is so interesting. But that necklace is too beautiful, you are obviously doing that shit right for him to give you that." Aishat said.

"Mmhm, you know I am." Chidera responded winking at them. "How are you and Johnathan?"

"Umm, good I guess. I don't mean to sound like this or anything but I feel so suffocated sometimes. Like after I got my job back, it's work and home or maybe seeing the therapist if I have time. And James is literally everywhere asking if I am good every second and it's like overwhelming for me cause I still get triggered from the whole abuse and.... I don't know, I know he has good intentions but..."

"I get that boo. Just talk to him maybe he doesn't even realise it. You know Johnathan is not even like thar, I am sure he doesn't know what to do that's why he keeps asking." Tiana expressed and Chidera hummed agreeing.

"You are right, I will talk to him when he gets back. " Aishat understood every word she said.

They talked for a while before exchanging 'goodbye' and 'I love you'.
