Lillith sighed. She did it, she had really done it. She had finally made her powers do something she wanted them to for the first time in her life. She looked up at the red flag on the rock. The rock was actually called Zeus' fist but if you looked at it from a certain angle it looked like a pile of stone rabbit droppings. Lillith moved towards the rock when Annabeth landed smoothly on her feet right in front of her. Annabeth's sword in her throat Lillith began to back up a little.

"Very impressive, it was you that came up with this plan was it? I knew that I should have watched you more carefully. I knew the moment I met you that you were clever but I never anticipated you were capable of this, but I will have to be your last opponent before you claim that flag." Then the girl called Chloe appeared beside Annabeth.

"Well if it means anything you have gained my respect you really have lived up to your Mothers name but tell me how did you fight of the Ares and half the Hermes cabin?"

"I knew that you would place your flag to the east so that was were you would most likely attack from. I placed Percy there by the river. No one will get by him while he is in contact with water. Not even all those demigods."

"You know it's not really far. This battle is two against one here."

"This is war it does not play far that's why we must be ready for every situation and be able to think of a way out of things quickly."

"This is your fault for coming out of the bush alone." Said Chloe.

"Why would you assume that I am alone? You know I really thought that I could get the flag without it but you leave me no choice I must play my trump card."

"Your what?" Chloe asked but then she stopped herself when she was Nico appear from the shadows.

"Nice work with those other five, looks like your getting the hang of those powers of yours."

"Thanks." Said Lillith as the ground beneath their feet began to shake and rumble. All over the ground skeleton arms erupted from the mud and 7 skeleton men appeared out of the mud.

"That's not far." Said Chloe.

"War is not far, that's why we must be prepared for everything." Lillith replied using the same words as Annabeth. Annabeth smiled to herself, this girl was smart.

"Well played Lillith but Athena always has a plan and she never loses."

"Never is an awfully long time..." Lillith said as Annabeth charged at her. Lillith dodged her attack and went to make a cut in her stomach but Annabeth was too quick and blocked her attack.

"You'll have to be quicker and smarter than that to beat me Lillith." She said with a smile. Annabeth pushed her back and she landed and Nico's feet on her butt. Nico, without thinking helped her up.

"I had no idea Athena kids were so competitive." She said watching as Annabeth sliced and killed Nico's skeleton men. They were good but they were no match for the daughter of Athena. Lillith watched in admiration as Annabeth used her own twin daggers. She looked down at the two in her hands, that was how you were meant to use these things. "Alright can you take care of Chloe for me?"

"You going after Annabeth?"

"Yeah got to give it a shot."

"That's a brave move. Call if you need anything."

"Thanks Nico." She said as she walked back over to were Annabeth was. "Hey Annabeth not done yet." She said reading herself for battle.

"I didn't think you would be..." The fight between Annabeth and Lillith lasted for a very long time. Demigods from both teams had been to gather, watching that battle take place. Everyone that had gathered looked pretty beaten up but nobody on the blue team made a move for the red teams flag. One because they were too beaten up and two because they were putting their faith in Lillith. A lot of people had seen what she did at the archery session she had that day and others had heard much about it. If things came down to it she would surely use that kind of power to win but Lillith hadn't so far. Annabeth threw Lillith on the ground again but she got straight back up. "Come on Lillith. I thought you wanted that flag. Why don't you use your power?" Lillith sighed and came at Annabeth but she blocked her attack with her own twin daggers.

"Several reasons. One I don't have much control over them yet, it might be a little dangerous. Two I don't want to, I want to see if I can win this fight without it."

"Lillith you won't. Not without those powers of your. I have met very few that can stand up to me in battle. You have done better than most but it's time to end this. We have an audience, show them what you can do."

"You really encouraging me to hurt you?"

"I can handle it. Look you can't shoot an arrow at a target, your not the best at sword play but you are very powerful. You can do things that others could only dream of doing. A lot of people think you weak but that is not the case, show them. I'm not going to lie down and let you take me, that's not the Athena way but use you power. Use it to win. In a battle with a real monster you wouldn't hold back would you?"

"No."

"Then how is this any different. This might be a fun game her but this is training for fighting things that will want to kill you. Your in a battle, even with your best friend do not hold back, because in the long run you will both learn from it and come away better fighters. That's what camp half blood is about. Use your skill and everything you've got, use it to win and show them that you are not weak." Annabeth pushed Lillith back and she stumbled backwards a few steps. She looked around at the crowd that had gathered, they were all watching with anticipation. She looked back at Annabeth who gave her a slight nod. A show, right she could do that. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, control your power she told herself. Think exactly what you want it to do, I want it to restrict Annabeth so she can't move and I can get that flag. As she thought think so opened her eyes and strange apparitions of ghostly like figures appeared at Annabeths feet. They clawed up her and she struggled to get out of their grip but she couldn't. The watching crowd gasped at the sight. The ghostly woman clung to Annabeth restricting her movement completely. After a while of struggling Annabeth knew she could not get out and relaxed a little when she saw that they were simply holding her in place and not doing her any really harm. Lillith watched not really knowing what to do next but the Annabeth motioned in the direction of the flag. Lillith then remembered what she was here for and nimbly climbed the rock and lifted the flag high into the air. The blue team erupted in cheers and shouted while the red team watched in almost disbelief. Chiron stepped out of the crowd and smiling at clapped in her direction. Lillith smiled feeling very happy, she had really done it. Her plan had defeated the Athena kids and she had managed to control her powers all in her first capture the flag game. Then everyone suddenly stopped laughing and cheering and looked at the space above Lillith's head. Lillith looked at them confused and looked up. Above her head floated a three glowing torches.

"All hail Lillith Lamwood daughter of Hecate." Chiron said as the whole camp before her including Nico bowed to her...
