Mr Miller

Lillith and Aurora watched in disgust as Mr Miller's human body turned to that of a lion. A tail of a scorpion grew from his behind and his clothes ripped.

"Wh-what the hell?" Said Aurora backing away from him.

"Aurora we need to get out of here now." Said Lillith grabbed her hand and the two made for the door but where stopped by Mr Miller.

"Not so fast." He said in a menacing tone. "I have held off for some time now thinking that you might want to eat her yourself Lillith but now I see that that is not your intention."

"Why would she want to eat me?" Said Aurora as Lillith stood still staring at the manticore before her.

"Stupid demigod you really do know nothing. Your friend here is not much different from I."

"Okay one she is not my friends and two what the hell is a demigod?" Mr Miller laughed evilly.

"That satyr should have taken you to the camp sooner and that new demigod. Why he is here I don't know."

"Who? Lillith who is he taking about?" Said Aurora.

"He must be talking about Nico. I don't know what a demigod is but he is the only new kid."

"Yes that's what a child of death is. They send of signals to everyone mortal or not to stay away from them."

"Child of death? I don't understand, how is that possible?"

"The son of Hades, God of the Underworld. Also a very powerful demigod, the more powerful they are the better they taste. You cannot deny that you have thought about sinking your teeth into him."

"This is really weird." Said Aurora holding on to her head.

"Hades...he's from Greek Mythology I think." Said Lillith under her breath.

"This small talk has grown tiresome and I am hunger so let me have my meal and I will be on my way."

"You wish to eat her you have to get through me first." Said Lillith getting angry. The look on her face was one of thunder and the manticore backed away for a second.

"You wish to fight for her do you?" Lillith continued to glare and him. Her eyes flashed a deep red colour and the windows behind her smashed into a thousand pieces. Aurora screamed and dived under the nearest desk in hopes of not getting hurt. Mr Miller watched as the broken glass on the floor slowly began to rise and float behind Lillith in thin air. "You are much more powerful than anyone could have imagined." He said feeling a little scared. It took a lot to scare a large Manticore like himself but Lillith was succeeding in it. Lillith knew that she was more powerful than this thing before her, she could beat it. Something deep inside her told her that this thing was nothing. The shards of broken glass flew towards Mr Miller and sunk deep into his skin. He wailed in pain and Aurora climbed out from under the table.

"Aurora what are you doing? Get back under the table and stay put of the way."

"Like that's gonna happen. I'm not gonna let a freak like you take all the glory."

"How exactly is this classed as gaining glory to you? Besides what are you gonna do about it? You might break a nail." Lillith said feeling angry and not in the mood to deal with her.

"Let me talk to him."

"That's you plan? To simply talk to the thing that wants to eat you? Are you stupid?" Aurora sighed angrily.

"Just stay out of my way freak." She said before turning to the blood soaked Mr Miller. "Hey Mr Miller, I think that you should calm down now." She spoke softly and calmly and Mr Miller and even Lillith herself began to calm down. Aurora turned back and smiled smugly at Lillith. "See? Not completely useless am I?" But what ever spell she placed on Mr Miller to make him calm down soon broke and he was even angrier than before.

"How dare you charm speak me." He growled as his scorpion tail came forward and was pointed at Aurora.

"No." Shouted Lillth as she dived from Aurora just as Mr Miller shot his poisonous spike. Aurora landed on the floor and Lillith landed on top of her.

"Ew, get of me you freak. I might catch something." She said pushing Lillith of her. Lillith rolled on to the floor next to her and that was when Aurora spotted the black spike sticking out of her leg. Lillith's red blood was spilling from the sides of the wound. "Gross. I can't believe you jumped in front of me for that. You total idiot."

"Aurora..." Lillith said weakly. "Are you alright?"

"Don't worry about me you twit we need to get you to a hospital." She said as there was a loud sound and the classroom door was broken door and there in the hallway stood Larry and Nico...
