Chapter 3

Tails' POV

I woke up early around 6 at morning, I get out of my bed and go bathroom doing my things then I walked out my room and knocked Sonic's door. "Sonic you awaked?" No answer maybe he's still sleeping. I go downstair then turned on the TV to watch the news then suddenly there's someone knocking the door. I go and answered it and it was Shadow! I'm surprised he would come here alone because I didn't see Rouge around him. I see his face was panicked and I asked him what's wrong?

"The city is under attack!"

"What? but Eggman had been disappeared for year ago then who else will be?"

"I don't know but we need to stop them! Go get that blue hedgehog and come to the city!" after that he left.

This is weird but I'll think about it later, right now I need to get Sonic. I ran upstairs to Sonic's room and knocked it. "Sonic! The city is in danger, we need to stop it!" Not any answered, is he really that sleepy? "Sonic?" I knocked it again but still no call back. We can't be here knowing that people are in danger, I opened the door and walked in. "Sonic? We have to go and help the city." I realized no one in the room after I said that. "Huh? Sonic is not here?! Is he go out for a morning run? but he always told me for it or leave a note. Maybe he already heard about the attacking and maybe he is already there. I should get going now.

After I make it I saw Shadow and the others are fighting the robots, but I didn't see Sonic and the robots are weird. They aren't Eggman's robots and their acting are weird too. They know how to dodge the attack from them and their speed are fast too.

"Took you long enough! Where is that blue hedgehog?"

"I can't find him and I thought he may know the attack to I thought he was here!"

"What? He's not here yet and you say you can't find him? Isn't he at home?"

"No he isn't. I opened his room and no one in there. He even not leave any note if he want to go out."

"Is he come home last night? You called me to check where he is, weren't you?

"No he wasn't come home until I go to sleep last night Amy, I thought he will come home later but it seems like he haven't come home until now."

"I think we should talk about this but now we need to deal with these trash."

"I'm agree but how do they acting so fast? they weren't like the robots we fought with Eggman!"

Knuckles asked the question that on my mind but apparently no one know the answer. We fight the robots around 20 minutes but we still can't get rid of them all. Shadow looks getting impatient and shouted.

"This is getting annoying! Chaos..."

"Guys take cover!" Rouge shouted to everyone.

"BLAST!!!"

We hide behind the building until the chaos blast over, we look out and all the robots has been destroyed to fragments.

"You should warn us before you use that hon. You know that would hurt some of us."

"But you aren't hurt don't you? so it's fine. Come on we have something to talk"

Before I come after the others I find something in the fragments and it was a... blue spike?

We got me and Sonic's house and stay in the living room, I wasn't gonna talk about the spike I picked, I'll deal with it myself later but now...

"So you said Sonic were out to check on Eggman and he haven't come back home from then?"

"Yes Amy and I'm worried about him."

"He could be anywhere, we all know he like to running around."

"I don't think he will not come back just for that knuckles."

"Then where he could be? It's not like he just disappeared in nowhere." Rouge is right, there's no chance for Sonic just disappeared.

"If that faker going to bring any trouble here then he'll know it."

"Have you even try to call him?" Amy asked me and I just nodded because yeah I already do that.

"He didn't answer the phone." I sighed and started to worry more knowing that no one know where Sonic is.

"Don't worry Tails I bet Sonic just sleepover somewhere." Knuckles said that calmly.

"I hope you're right. Anyway thanks for coming guys but I still have some research for something so I'll see you later."

"Sure" "See you Tails" "Don't stress yourself out" "Whatever"  The gangs are leave.

I make sure they all left and will not come back I take out the spike and start to think about it. "Why was this at there? And this spike looks familiar... I hope it not what I think, I should survey for it." I go to my workshop and surveyed the spike's information, I checked the DNA and get what I don't want the most... "Sonic... This is Sonic's quill!! But how? He wasn't there with the fight and this quill appeared after that! Unless Sonic..."

*Clap* *Clap* "Yes my little buddy, you got it right!"

I heard the clap and the familiar voice then I turned around and see it's really Sonic! But he is wearing a black coat, red gloves and his symbolic red shoes, and his eyes are not the emerald green anymore it's turned to red like ruby. But I'm pretty he is the Sonic I know. "Sonic! Where have you been? I'm so worried about you!"

"Sorry Tails but I've got something to do."

"What's are you doing?"

"You really wanna know?"

"Of course! You are this most important person I care! And I'll always help you so just tell me what you're doing."

"Okay but we are not gonna talk about it here."

"What do you me-!!" I feel I got hit front behind the neck and I become dizzy and my vision blurred, and I feel someone holding me "So...nic..." was the last thing I said then I passed out.

"I'm happy to get some help from you, but you need to get change first."
