Chapter 9

Sonic's POV

I slowly opened my eyes but I can't sit up, I felt my whole body is in incredible pain if I doing any move. I look outside and it's still night but I don't think we only slept a few moments so I guess we slept for a whole day since last night.

*cough* *cough*

"Tails! are you al-AH!!!!" I was going to see if Tails is alright but I forgot that if I move then the pain will come, and because I suddenly sat up it's hurt more.

"Sonic!! what's happened to-"

"Tails don't move!"

"GAHHHHH!!!!!!"

It was hurt more a lot to heard Tails screaming like that, it's hurt inside my mental but I bear it and try to get to Tails to comfort him. But before I reach him he suddenly started threw up with blood, my eyes widen but I'm begin to do the same after a few seconds. I feel so weak and Tails is already lying down unconscious, I'm try to reach him but I'm instead ran out the energy and passed out again.

"Help... us... Sha... dow..."

Shadow's POV

"She is fine now but she still need some rest so better take her home and rest more."

"Thanks for the help, nurse."

"No problem."

After we took Rose to the hospital it's been a day and she finally getting recovered, I'm so glad I didn't lose her or anyone. Now we just need to take her home for her to rest.

Me, Rouge, Knuckles has been sitting in the living room after putting Rose to bed, we still thinking about what happened after that. Sonic and Tails are not look good at then. Is losing control make their body over acted? I know Sonic has a dark form but not Tails, and I don't think even Sonic can hold that down this time. I don't know why but they got me worried.

"So what do you think about that?"

"The boys are not doing well then, their face are pale and struggled. I'm really worried about them even it's already been a day."

"I can't believed that I'm saying this but me too, some deep inside of me couldn't stop thinking with the situation."

"So you do cared about them right?"

*sigh* "I guess I am..."

"Why don't we just go and see if they're doing well or not? I mean we already know where they living right?"

"I'm agree with Knux and I don't think that they have enough energy to move their base."

"Sure but you two are stay in here, someone have to look after Rose when I'm gone and I don't trust you with only one of you look after her, so you both stay."

"Aw... fine make sure be careful and make them alright."

"Mhm." I chaos controlled to their base then I walked to the door knocked it... no one answer? That's weird so I knocked again more loud but still the same, I don't feeling well with this. I broke the door and walked in, my eyes widen more and more an my face paled when the view caught in my eyes...

"SONIC!! TAILS!!"

I ran to them, although they are in their normal form but they both are unconscious and there's some blood on their mouth and floor, I wonder were they been like this from yesterday? But that's doesn't matter now, I need to take them home because the hospital is closed now.

"chaos... control!"

"Oh Shadow you're back- HOLY CRAP!!!"

"What happened to them? Don't tell me you did this!"

"No why would I?! I found them unconscious in their base's lobby, I don't know if they have been like this since then but now we have to take care of them. Their condition is worse then Rose!"

We take then to the guest room and put them on bed together since they are together now. I wiped the blood on them, Rouge take their clothes to wash and Knuckles going out to get some anodyne. Just after I finished Sonic slowly moved showing that he's waking up.

"Hm... where... where am I..."

"Feeling better?"

"Sha-Shadow?! why are you here and what did you do to me and..." He turned his head "Tails! did you hurt him?! you're gonna pay for this!"

"Hey calm down you idiot, I didn't do anything bad to you. To be honest we are worried about you after that, yes I'm worried too. But when I visited you were lied on the floor with blood and passed out, so I decided to take you to my house and take care of you. What happened exactly?"

"... after we back to our base we passed out immediately and then we woke up after one day which is today, but we felt incredible pain if we move and somehow we actually did that so we got to gain the mass pain and that lead us threw out blood then we passed out again."

"I think the dark power was took you too far, you use the power you can't control and that make you reached your limit. You're lucky you can even wake up... can you tell me honestly why you done all of this? I still don't get it."

And then he told me the whole story, "Doctor is not here anymore... in this case I can confirm that he's already dead, nothing is more hurt than the comments from all the people."

"That's way I'm with Sonic then... I can feel the same because of my past..."

"Tails... it's okay buddy that's all the past thing now... but I don't think we can still stay here anymore..."

"What do you mean? of course you can stay here, why make you say that?"

"After all we've done."

"The city isn't live anymore..."

"Hey I brough you back doesn't want you to think like that, I still can't forgive you but this isn't how the thing's doing, so stop acting like there's no hope."

*chuckles* "You're really change a lot in short Shads, I'm so glad we can talk like this."

"Yeah whatever, now go back to rest, and I'll do doing my things. If you need anything just call me, got it?"

"Sure and we have a very important thing to tell you before you leave."

"And what is it?"

They look at each others eyes and both turned to me,

"Thank you, for saving us."

I only nodded then left the room but once I closed the door and got to the kitchen my tears can't stop streaming, the sentence they said is so hurt to my heart but so happy in the same time. That was the best smile I ever met...
