Chapter 3.
I put on my blue summer dress. It swirled as I spun, I was excited for tonight. I was Ecstatic, but part of me said I shouldn't have been. I was more happy that I got to go to Disneyland on my own time for free. I only went to Disneyland twice without the job. Once with my family, and then the other was applying for the job. I loved my job, but also being 21 tomorrow I really needed to burst out of this shell. I sound like some caterpillar cliché.
I danced down the stairs to the foyer, my mom was cooking, I hadn't told her about Austin yet, I figured if things went well she'd meet him eventually. I kissed her goodnight and went to my car.
I turned on my radio to find My Understandings by Of Mice and Men blasting. I smiled at the thought, I felt so ridiculous. I looked into my mirror, "Randi, whatever happens don't get full of yourself. He's sweet and everything you've ever dreamed of, but don't be a fool, if he's not interested then he's not. Don't get excited." I drove up to my usual spot and walked to the front gate.
"Randi? Belle?" His voice made me melt a little.
I turned to the sound and was met by a hug, he was hugging me. I breathed him in, "Hi."
"I guess I'm not the only princess now." Alan smiled and patted my back, "are you coming in with us? Or do you have to pay?" He winked at Austin and grabbed Tino, who grabbed Phil, who grabbed Aaron and walked into the park.
I smiled and started to walk in, "Hey Josie, I was promised a free pass."
Josie winked, "If you bring him more, you'll get in free all the time."
I waited on the other side as he swung his pass in her face. He grabbed my hand and started running to the crowd.
"Jump on, Girly! I'm not losing you." He pulled me on to his back. I jumped on, my God it was like a dream.
We pushed through the crowd, and finally got to the front with the rest of the band. I cheered off of his back, all of the characters waved back, I knew they couldn't recognise me, but I felt like such a little kid. I honestly was so happy just as I was, not the fact that I was on Austin Carlile's back, but because I was here, feeling like I was in a dream, yet feeling alive and young.
I honestly fell in love with the moment and my life all made sense. And I hugged the man I was on top of, not even realising that I was hugging my celebrity crush.
I whispered; "this is perfect"
He set me down in front of him and then kissed my forehead, and grabbed my waist as we watched the rest of the parade go by.
I kept my excitement hidden as he whispered, "yes it is."
The parade had ended and we waited until the entire park was empty before heading out, Josie ran up to me, and grabbed my hand.
"You are totes going to that party at Greg's, right?" She seemed to jump with excitement.
I looked at Austin, "well I don't know, do you want to?"
Austin grinned, "what music are you playing?"
Josie smiled, "Rock, duh!" She winked and tugged at my sleeve, "so you'll come?"
Austin nodded, "but it's going to be her plus five."
She jumped, "So very, the more the merrier." And she skipped off with the knowledge of success.
"Are you going to show off your mad skills of rock?" I smiled as he swung my hand.
He laughed, "Duh!" He mocked Josie.
I looked at my clothes and then face palmed. "I need to change, like bad."
He gasped, "Atrocious! We must get you out of that. ASAP."
I laughed, "just get me to Walmart, I've got some cash, we'll get me an outfit."
He smiled wide. "Best get in the vehicle, what does yours fit?"
I counted, "seven?"
He called into the bus "party time" all the guys got out and rushed to my car, they had their mickey-ear hats on and ready to go. "Get the car started, I'll be back in a little."
I drove the car closer to the bus, Austin jumped out with a black bag, then hopped into the front seat. "Let's party, little lady!"
I laughed and drove off, we went to Walmart and got this skirt I've been cheaply eye-ing. I buy it and run back to the car, slipping into the lace black skirt, and then realising I didn't get a shirt.. "Uhm. Can one of you guys look for a shirt back there?"
I turned back to look at the road, when Austin pulled out the black bag from earlier. "No need to go through the lady's stuff, I've got her a personal shirt." He pulled out an Of Mice and Men shirt, with a white pen all the guys had signed it. "She can look stylish in this."
I gasped, and smiled brightly, without even thinking I took my dress off and put the shirt on.
"Uhm. Randi?! The road?!"
I jumped and remembered I was driving, I heard Phil whisper to Tino "man if I knew fans would change right in front of me I'd invite them out more often." I giggled when he caught my eye in the rear-view mirror. He played on his phone the rest of the way.
