Chapter 22

"You stupid fucking whore!" Emily wouldn't ease off. Alan had tried to pull her away, but she'd grab Ella's hair and pull her along. "I hope you're happy with your disgusting self!"

I ran to her, pushing her off Ella. "Emily! Calm down. Let her wallow in her own pit of whore." I got Emily off of Ella, she curled into a ball on the ground. "Come on, Alan get her some water. Austin make sure Emily didn't break anything." I walked Emily to a bench, "Dude are you okay?" I laughed.

"Holy fuck Emily. I didn't know you had it in you." Ben sat on the other side of me. "Bloody brilliant."

I couldn't keep the smile off my face. Alan handed her a water. "Damn baby. Wanna tell me what that was about?"

"Stupid bitch, stupid Austin. He got drunk yelled at Randi and then went to bed with Ella." She shivered.

"Baby, you don't know the whole story. It's a bit more complex." He mumbled.

"There's nothing complex about saying 'Randi, I'm still in love with my ex. I'm sorry' that's all she needed to hear." Emily gulped her water down.

Alan sighed, "Come on, Liam starting to talk."

We walked over to hear him. "Let's get this straight, we are a family! We will fight! If I hear any more shit about a fight, I will end this all. I don't care about fighting. Fight by all means. But when it's done, it is done. Now you guys have the day to tour. Good luck. Be back here for dinner together. At 8pm."

The large group dispersed. "Alan and I are going on our own. He says he has plans, I'll see you at dinner."

I waved by, Austin started walking towards me. Ben stepped closer in a stance of defence.

"Tell Emily to lay off, you don't know the whole story." He said sternly.

"I don't control Emily's actions." I stepped back, "Come on Ben, lets get my things from the room, and then we'll find something to do."

Danny had helped moving my stuff into Ben's room. We decided that there was no better way to spend the day, than to check out every pub and find the best one. In our area, we found about 10. Our list consisted of: 1. The Lions 2. Troll Café 3. Café Titon 4. Le Mange Disc 5. Le Requin Chargrin 6. Le Teddy's Bar 7. Connolly's Corner 8. Stolly's 9. Bouillon Belge and 10. UDO Bar.

We set out, I had my Misfits Toms on, and grabbed a cigarette. I lit it and passed it to Ben, he always shared his, so figured I could share mine with him. He gladly accepted, I handed a lit one to Danny, who accepted as well. I lit a third one and started inhaling. We stopped at our first pub. The Lions was small, not many people were in it, but it seemed like one of those comfy 'everyone knows everyone' kinds. We stepped in, I ordered a tall Guinness and started chugging it down.

"Calm down darling, we've got all day." Ben smiled, "Or not."

I smiled as I chugged down the rest. We got shots and started pounding them. I was buzzed by time we got to our third pub. I grabbed another Guinness, Ben had stopped trying to slow me down. We had made it to the eighth before we got a mass texting saying to be at a French restaurant in 30 minutes, we were at least an hour away, and unable to drive. We called for a driver, and started our way there, by car it'd be a lot faster. We were fifteen minutes late, and I was tipsy, I tried sobering up in the vehicle.

I walked in trying not to trip. Ben had his hands on my waist keeping me steady. Austin was scowling at us. Emily winked at me, giggling. At the sight of her, I giggled and nearly fell. Ben quickly wrapped his arm around me, found a chair, and sat me down. I tried keeping my laughter in.

Liam started talking, and I dozed off on Ben's shoulder.

Danny shook me awake when the waiter got to us, I asked for a water.

"You're a lightweight." Danny laughed after ordering a brandy.

"Did you see how many shots I took? How large my beers were?" I laughed, "I totally doubled your alcohol intake."

He smiled, "Well we've got a long night ahead of us, and now that you're with the rule breakers, you'll have to keep up."

I shook my head, "yeah, yeah." I waved him off. Kellin across the table grabbed my attention.

"Randi, I need to speak to you, after we order?" He smiled, his eyes were full of sincerity. I nodded in agreement, the waiter came by with our drinks and got our orders.

Kellin and I stepped outside, "Randi, I love Austin. And I know things are difficult, but you really just need to push through. You are perfect for him."

I shifted my feet. "Kellin, I love him. I really do, not for his fame, or for some stupid reason. I really do love him, for him. But I know that if the one you love loves someone else, you let them. Their happiness is more important than yours. I am willing to be a second choice for Austin. When ever he needs me, however he needs me, I'll be there. Because that's what you do when you love someone." My eyes watered, "There is nothing more painful than watching him be happy without me. I'm not mad at him, I didn't know Emily was going to attack Ella, if I did I wouldn't have let her. She was just trying to help me." I breathed in deeply.

"I'm sorry Randi, of all the things I understand, that is one of them." He took me into a hug. "You have a way for being everyone's friend, I know you're just friends, but not everyone will. Don't spend your time with one band, hang out all over. It'll be easier to handle things." He smiled and released me, "tomorrow, SWS is going on first, at 5pm, hang out with us until then, I don't expect you to be up until noon. So just be safe tonight."

I nodded, we walked in, I sat back down in between Danny and Ben. Danny was talking to Sam, and Ben was talking to Cam. I sat looking around, everyone had someone to talk to except Austin and myself. I smiled at him, he scowled and shook his head, looking back at the table.

Our food came, I started talking to everyone, actually meeting a bunch of band members.
