"A sunrise in Paris? Could you say that's better than a sunset?" Ben smiled at me, but kept his head down. "I'm sorry"

I smiled, "for what?" I wasn't tired at all, I loved the beautiful shades of pink and orange flowing over the city.

"For everything... I mean I could have been more respectable to you, not be so flirty, kept you out of an argument. And for more, I'm sorry for fancying you even more now then before. I'm sorry that you're going through this with Austin. I'm sorry in all."

I looked at my fidgeting fingers. I had no clue what to do, I was still trying to figure out how to deal with Austin. "Thank you Ben, for this evening, it was lovely. You have nothing to be sorry for, I'll figure it out, I always figure everything out."

He smiled, reassuringly, "back to the hotel then? We have that thing at eight." I looked at my watch, it was six am. I had two hours to clean up and try to find Austin. I nodded and we headed back to the hotel.

We got to my room, "really Ben. Thank you, I had an amazing time tonight. Thank you for not trying to take advantage of me."

He nodded, "you are better than a thirty second jump. I'll see you at the gathering."

I opened the door, everyone was still asleep. I opened the door to my room, I saw Austin curled on my side of the bed. I walked over to kiss his forehead.

Ella was curled into his arms, her face in his chest.
