The charity was on Saturday and luckily , I had gotten permission to go . Mom said no but then dad said yes and so I was going to the charity and not having to sneak out .
I wore my black short dress from Zara with black boots and let my hair down and styled my fringe .
" Bye bye " ; I yelled as I reached the elevator .
" Who is picking you up and who are you going with ? And is Booth not going with you ? ; Dad asked .
Just then the elevator doors opened and Luke stepped out . I took his hand and said " Ride's here and I gave Booth the night off so he can't report anything back to mom and I may or may not have sent him on a blind date "
" You annoy him " ; dad chuckled .
" Alright kiddos , have fun , please don't get in trouble and don't drink " ; he added .
We both saluted him just as the elevator doors closed .

" Then adopt one . The adoption fee is 10 dollars " ; Luke said picking up the price tag on the cage .
" I am not responsible enough. I managed to almost kill my fish after forgetting to feed her . Ben found her half-dead in the fishbowl . Mom and Dad took away my pet parenting rights after that " ; I sighed .
" How old were you ? " ; Luke asked .
" 15 "
" Are you ever going to get those rights back ? "
" Once I turn 18 , yes "

" Run run run run " ; Luke whisper -yelled .
I didn't need to be told twice . I ran to the nearest empty balcony and hid there .
" Hello there " ; a voice startled me . I turned around to be faced by a man with sleek black hair and he had a cut above his eyebrow .
" hi ! Sorry , I'll go " ; I apologized .
" That's alright , you can stay " ; he waved his hands .
" Thank you so much . This woman I am running from just gets on my nerves " ; I laughed .
" Victor Von Doom . And you are ? " ; he asked extending his hand .
" Stacey . Stacey Reed Richards " ; I shook his hands .
" Why do I know your name ? " ; he asked .
" My parents are superheroes "
" Ah ! Reed Richards and Susan Storm , right ? "
" Yes "
" I know them . We used to be business partners , your mom and I "
" Oh . she never mentioned you "
" Probably because you're not old enough "

" You should know something . You mom is hiding a lot of stuff from you and your dad isn't who he says he is "
" What do you mean ? " ; I asked .
He just handed me his business card . " Call me . We can meet up sometime or you can come work for me , as an intern "
Then he just walked out of the balcony .
Luke walked in five minutes later . " She is a real piece of work " ; he laughed out .
" Hey , you okay ? " ; he asked .
" Yeah . do you know anything about a man named Victor Von Doom ? " ; I asked .
" He used to have a big NASA kinda business here and then he packed up and moved to Germany . Why ? " ; he asked .
" Nothing . I just overheard someone say the name and it sounded familiar "
" Oh , okay . Anyways , I am hungry , let's go eat "
