Victor and I spent every night texting . He was charming . Booth was okay now and I hugged him real tight after he was out of surgery . He is like my older brother . Scratch that , he is my older brother .
Luke came over a few times , I passed my finals presentation with flying colours . Mom and dad weren't fighting anymore . Everything was great . My finals were over as well and I had sent out college applications and applied to colleges . John Jay College of Criminal Justice , FDU , George Washington University , CCU , and I applied to Princeton for fun cause Devi Vishwakumar applied too and I wanted to give it a shot . Victor finally told me about his powers . He can control electricity . Cool beans !

Victor - You said you had a crush on a guy but your afraid to tell him .
Stacey - Yeah ........................................ he is my best friend . Lucas Morgan . Everyone calls him Luke though .

Victor - Hahahaahhahahaha . Okay , sure !

Victor - why though ?
Stacey - Because Johnny accidentally did something similar once and it looked fun but mom and dad said never to do it . But right now , I am going through my rebel phase and I love it . I was never a rebel and I regret not being one . Life's too short to not have a bad phase ! I am a rebel . I love being a rebel !
Victor - I admire your thinking . For what its worth , you will make a hell of a federal agent and a profiler .
Stacey - Looking forwards to being one !

I sighed as I put my phone down and turned to my newly bought Macbook .
Mom took away my old one , something about a virus and got me a new one . Good for me . I get to watch the love of my love aka Aaron Hotchner on an even high quality screen where it is even more fun to stare at him with googly eyes .
But while I was watching Criminal Minds , I had a thought . I jumped off the bed and ran to Ben's room .
" Uncle Ben Uncle Ben Uncle Ben " ; I chanted as I burst into his room after knocking , obviously .
" Stacey Stacey Stacey " ; he said back , matching my tone .
" I had a personal question " ; I said as I climbed up on his enormous bed .
" Shoot "
" Do you like this ? Do you like being The Thing ? "
He sighed .
" Sometimes , no . Sometimes I feel invalid , like why am I even on the team but then we help people and the perspective changes . Why you asking kiddo ? "
" I hate not being able to control my powers . I can absorb someone else's but I can't give it back and the fire thing is actually getting out of control . Don't tell anyone but I had Luke hack into dad's phone cause its easier and read texts between mom and dad . They say my fire situation is getting out of hand cause I can't control it and they are spending a lot of time researching on me and how to cure me . Sometimes , I feel like a burden , like they should be concentrating on saving the world , not me ! "
" Stacey , kid listen to me . You are more important than saving others in the world . You're not a burden , don't even think that . You are the one that actually brought Reed and Susie back together . They love you tons and saving you and finding a permanent solution will always come first . You are my favourite niece "

6 weeks , after 6 weeks of torture those shooters opened up .
" Who sent you ? " ; I asked again .
" His name is Victor . That's all we know " ; one of them said .
" this doesn't make sense . He wants to get close to her , use her , then why try to kill her ? " ; I asked just as the shooters were taken out of the room .
" Unless it was a scare tactic " ; General Hager suggested .
" Or a distraction " ; Reed said .
" Whatever it was it can't - " ; I was cut off by my phone ringing .
" Sorry " ; I said as I looked at the caller id . Johnny .
" Yes ? " ; I asked .
" You need to come home . Both of you , its Stacey " ; he said urgently .
