" Stacey ! " ; there was just one warning from mom but nobody made an effort to stop me .
" You're not dead . Well , good for me . I get to kill you , again . Nah , that would be too easy . Yeah , I'll make you my lab rat . Experiment on you , make you wish you didn't meet me again " ; I said as I watched him , struggling to breathe . " How does it feel Victor ? The feeling of your heart being ripped out ? "
" Richards ! Stop her , now ! " ; I heard Hager .
" Stacey , let him go " ; dad said reluctantly .
" A little longer . It's really fun " ; I said .
" Stacey , let go " ; Hager said to me sternly .
I finally let go and backed away in disgust . " What is he doing here ? "
" Helping with the silver surfer " ; Hager replied .
" He ? He is helping ? " ; I asked Hager . Was he out of his mind ?
" I actually can " ; Victor said .
" Nobody is asking you ! " ; I snapped .
" He has a formula . To take down the silver surfer . it will take you time to analyze the materials but victor here , has already done that "
" What makes you think that I am just going to listen to you Hager ? and make you a damn weapon based on that " ; I pointed at Victor . " That thing's formula "
" Otherwise innocent people will die and you will listen cause that's an order . And give him some of his powers back "
" Hell no ! I don't care "
" Reed " ; Hager looked at dad .
" 20% Stace " ; he sighed looking at me .
" He is getting no percentage of his powers back ! Does anyone know how it feels to have nightmares about the man who was about to kill you ? And him powerless makes me feel safe . I am not listening . Not this time ! " ; I said angrily .
" Then I guess , I will be withdrawing and cancelling the deal I made with the university " ; Hager stated .
" What deal ? "
" The one where the United States Army sent the admissions officer an LOR and made a deal that you will attend university granted that you serve the country . Without the LOR and the Deal , no college would have accepted you . No matter the grades . You think you got in on your own ? That was a lie "
" You all knew about this ? " ; I turned to my family .
" Stacey - " ; mom began to say .
" You did . That's why you suggested military colleges if I didn't make it . You knew . All of you "
" So what will it be Stacey ? Powers or your career ? "
" You are going to regret this and I can guarantee that Hager . You are what is wrong with this country . thinking that you can just boss around and threaten people and then come crying back when things go wrong . But this time , I won't help when things go haywire . I say let them die and innocent people dying will be on you ! "
I marched over to Victor and gave him 20% of his powers back .
" Come on Booth , I want to go home " ; I said as I stalked out .
When I turned back around , I saw Booth punch Victor in the face before he followed after me .
" Let's go passenger princess . Where do you want to go ? Safe house ? Compound ? Baxter Building ? Luke's house ? "
" Luke's house please "
" Don't be sad Stacey . I know it sucks but it will all be fine . I promise "
