16 - She knows and there is nothing else that we can do about it

Reed's POV - 

He had taken her to Latveria . We could get there within 2 hours with the quinjet but we would need permissions from the military to get into the country and right now I didn't have the patience for that . 

While Hager and the rest of the military personnel were busy getting a permit , I snuck out with the three of my team and boarded the quinjet . 

" If we fly just high enough  , not  above three layers of the atmosphere but enough to avoid air station detection , we will be okay " ; Johnny said . 

Sue and I looked at him with the you - have - done - this - before - look . He just shrugged innocently .

Now I know where Stacey gets her rebelling attitude inspiration from . I shook my head and started the quinjet . 

We soared off into the air and set the gps to Latveria . 

" What do you reckon he did to her ? " ; Ben asked . 

" Hopefully not experiment or manipulate her " ; I said lowly . 

" He wouldn't kill her , right ? " ; Sue asked worriedly . 

" I don't think so . He has a huge ego , he will want to use her powers for new world order " ; Johnny said . 

" And Booth . Why did he take him ? " ; I asked . 

" Leverage " ; Sue replied . 

We were half an hour away from Latveria when a video message popped up on the quinjet screen . It was from an unknown number . 

" It might be from him " ; Ben said .

I clicked on the receive and open button . 

" Hello my friends . I know that you know me and don't worry Stacey is fine with me . Sure , I had to scare her with a gun and beating up Booth but she is fine . Atleast I got her to comply with me . Her stubborn attitude really didn't last once I brought out the gun . Poor little thing " ; he laughed . 

I could have just reached through the screen and strangled him right there if it wasn't a video . He used her worst fear against her . 

" And btw , she knows . She knows it and now that she is working for me , we will be establishing new world order " ; he smirked before the video ended . 

" I told you he wanted new world order ! " ; Johnny exclaimed . 

" He told her . He probably also had fed her lies ! " ; Sue said . 

I said nothing . What will Stacey think of me now ? Will she hate us ? 

I landed the jet outside of the mansion . 

" Stacey !  " ; I yelled as I jogged into the mansion . 

The others followed suit . We came across a damaged living room and a beaten Booth on the floor . 

" Booth " ; I said as I ran to me . 

" Mr . Richards , I am sorry " ; he coughed . 

" Its okay Booth . Where are you hurt ? " ; I asked as Sue and Ben went to look for Stacey . 

" I am okay . But Stacey , she won't be for long . Victor is going to use her , he took her away from here and he will probably go to New York . He intends to use her as some sort of a powerhouse . He did something to her . Her magnetic powers are all under control and she can now absorb and give back powers with no problem . He wants her to take in every superhero's power and render them powerless " ; he said . 

" Stacey is not here " ; Ben said as he came back to where we were . 

" Victor is not here " ; Sue said . 

" Yeah , he took her back to New York " ; I said .
