The next day I was in my lab at the company with Booth and Luke . While Luke was in the cafeteria getting us some snacks , Booth and I were working on making the machine for the silver surfer .
" What is on your mind ? Speak it out . I can hear the wheels screeching in your head from here " ; Booth said .
" How is he alive ? How is Victor alive ? I thought I killed him ! "
" My hypothesis , when the entity passed over Latveria , I think it did something to his solidified state "
" I guess . Plus , I am sure there is some less barbaric way that we can communicate with the Silver Surfer . He knows me. I sent him messages and he let me live and I just think that there is a connection . I got to have some of his powers "
" I don't think he wants to communicate " ; Booth said empathetic.
" And Booth is right . Another crater was just formed . This time in London " ; Hager entered the lab with Victor and Johnny . " How far are you with the machine ? "
" Get him out of my lab " ; I said pointing at Victor .
" This is his formula and he stays to make sure you don't mess up " ; Hager stated .
" So you are going to trust a psychopath who tried to kill me and establish a new world order over the girl who literally has always helped you ? Great ! Besides , I just need three more days "
" Good " ; and then walked out .
" Where are my parents and Ben ? " ; I asked Johnny .
" Went to London to inspect the new crater " ; he replied .
" Love what you have done with the place " ; Victor spoke up .
" Well , you gave it to me , so I changed it "
He tried to walk closer to me but Booth and Johnny immediately stood in from of me , guarding me from him .
" Take one more step and I will punch you again . Harder this time . I know how to injure a person in 34 different ways and make it look like a freak accident " ; Booth said coldly .
" And I will burn you and kill you in a matter of seconds and nobody will bat an eye . Stay away from her "
The doors opened again and Luke walked in .
" I see you confessed Stacey " ; Victor said .
" And I see you are still a pathetic man " ; Luke shot back .
