But suddenly the rain began to pour down heavily adding more trouble to the already tough situation. As the rain trickled down Karishma's face, her mild sleep broke immediately as she looked at the surrounding and then at Haseena when she heard her saying, "Karishma Singh hum yahan nahi ruk sakte hain... chalne ki koshish kijiye please" Haseena pleaded.

She knew that she was getting harsh on Karishma but that was the only way to save themselves. Karishma tried her best but to no avail. At last, not wasting time further Haseena scooped her up in her arms carefully whereas Karishma looked at her shockingly, but chose to say nothing. Her heart raced as she felt a sudden surge of emotion, she couldn't quite explain. As they walked, Karishma could feel Haseena's strength and tenderness all at once and she was admiring the way Haseena had held her so securely as if she was the most precious thing in the world. Karishma could do nothing but think about the way Haseena treats her, always! Their clothes had become completely drenched. As Karishma was busy admiring Haseena, the latter spotted a small, quaint cottage in the distance.

"Karishma Singh... woh dekhiye!" Haseena said as her voice was filled with hope. Karishma, forcefully averting her gaze from the sight she was beholding, followed her gaze and she too felt a little relaxed. Haseena walked towards it as quickly as she could, hoping to find some warmth and shelter from the storm. As they drew closer, they could see the smoke from a fireplace rising from the chimney.

They knocked the door impatiently waiting for it to open.
"Kaun hai??" An elderly woman opened the door and asked them.

"Hum dono yahan pe phas gaye hain, aur inko bahot chot lagi hai... kya hum aaj raat yahin ruk sakte hain please?" Haseena requested politely and urgently as well.

"Tum dono kuch galat kaam toh nahi karte ho na?" The old lady asked. Of course no one could let any random person enter their house at this hour.

"Hum dono police waale hain, kuch kaam se yahan aaye thy... kya hum..."

"Aao!" She let them in.

Carrying injured Karishma in her arms, Haseena barged inside. The woman guided them to the fireplace. Haseena made Karishma lay on the cot and sat near her legs.
"aap toh kaafi bheeg gayin hain..." She said worriedly. The woman brought a towel and handed it to Haseena.

"Shukriya..." Haseena said with a smile as she started wiping Karishma's face, hair, neck and rest of the body. Till then, the old woman brings them Salwar and pyjamas to change and told them that they are of their daughter who's not home these days.
"Main tum dono ke liye khane ko kuch leke aati hoon, tab tak tum dono kapre badal lo" She said as she walked inside the kitchen to prepare the meal.

Without asking for a permission, Haseena starts to remove Karishma's clothes to change.
"amaa pooch toh liya kijiye... kabhi bhi kapre kholne lagti hain hamare" Karishma said nervously.

"Aapse poochenge to aapki bakwaas shuru ho jayegi... isse behtar bagair pooche kar lein" Haseena answered as she unbuttoned her shirt and slid down from her arm. Karishma's throat dried and so was Haseena's but she was maintaining her calm. Karishma held her arm and mumbled nervously, "Go... goli..." She coughed, "goli paaon mein lagi hai... haath mein nahi... t... toh... hum khud se... kar lenge..." And she let go of Haseena's hand.

Haseena mentally smacked her forehead at her desperation. What was the need? She berated herself as she moved away. "De.. dekhiye... humein.. humein bhi koi shauk nahi hai... I was doing it only for your convenience."

She turned away and let Karishma change her clothes. "Suniye" She heard Karishma's deep voice.
"Haan?"
"Aap dekh sakti hain humari taraf"

"Dekhiye Karishma Singh, humein aapko nahi dekhna hai... aur hum aapko kyu dekhenge" Haseena said in a stern tone.
