Down with a heavy headache next morning, Karishma woke up from her sleep. She sat up, holding her head, and adjusted her vision to make sense of her surroundings. Misha was right there, sitting in the other corner of the bed, scrolling through her phone. "Good morning." She looked at her momentarily and got back to her phone.

"Ama.." Karishma said to grab her attention. "Hum yahan kaa kar rahe hain, Misha?" She asked, confused.

"So rahi thi." Misha answered indifferently.

"Hum yahan kaise aaye?"

"Haseena laayi thi, raat mein... nashe mein thi tum." She answered in the same tone again.

She sighed, resting her head on the headboard. Misha got up, left the room, and came back with a glass of lemonade. "Here you go," She handed the glass to Karishma and signaled for her to gulp it down.

"Naraaz thi woh?" Karishma asked softly.

"Ofcourse not! She's very happy that you were drunk."

Karishma let the sarcasm go and asked another question. "Kya socha hai unhone? Is she going to leave me?"

"Leave YOU?" Misha laughed. "Do you think she can?" She searched the drawer for something.

"Unhone hi bola tha na, she won't move forward." Karishma asked. Misha shoved the thermometer inside her mouth, making her quiet.

"Mujhe toh actually samajh hi nahi aa raha hai tum dono baat kyu nahi kar lete? Itna badha dia hai ek baat ko? Kisliye? Bolo?" Karishma gestured at the thermo in her mouth and Misha continued. "You are crying; she's crying but no one's willing to talk and sort things out. Tum dono ko chahiye ki saamne waala pehle baat kare aake, hai na?"

She removed the thermometer from Karishma's mouth to check the temperature. "Kam hai kal se, par abhi bhi hai. Rest karogi aaj?" She asked.

"Kaam bahot hai Misha, thaane mein koi S.I. bhi nahi hai... bahot pressure hai." Karishma said.

"Toh tumhari girlfriend ko bol du aaj bhi bar mein milegi Karishma?" Misha asked. Karishma was flushed.

"Is she still my girlfriend?" She asked hopefully.

"Naah. She's mine now." Misha said. "Breakfast lekar aate hain, phir medicine bhi leni hai tumhe." She walked out of the room, followed by Karishma, to her kitchen.

"Misha, kya woh sab thik karna chaahti hain? Kya woh baat karna chaahti hain?" She asked.

Misha took out a packet of bread from the fridge and milk to make coffee. "Karishma, woh apna future plan kar rahi thi tumhare saath, baat kyu nahi karna chaahegi? You tell me first, are you sure about you two?"

"Is baare mein humari cafe mein bhi baat hui thi, Misha, aur humne tab bhi tumhe bataya tha ki hum unke liye kitne sure hain?" Karishma said, blocking her way.

"Jaao phir aaj headquarters aur sort kar lo sab." Misha said, pushing her aside to prepare breakfast.

"Tumhe pata hai, woh roz raat mein aati hain, kiss karti hain, thik se sula deti hain aur phir chali jaati hain." Karishma said with a sweet smile. "Kabhi kabhi toh hum sone ka natak karte hain, achha lagta hai."

"Woh bhi," Misha winked at Karishma.

"Subah?"

"Yup!" She served the breakfast on a plate and placed it on the dining table outside the kitchen. Karishma was blushing as she walked out behind her and sat down. Misha went to the room to bring Karishma's medicines. She sat across from Karishma at the table, watching as she slowly ate her breakfast. Her chin rested on her palms, elbows propped on the table. She just smiled, tilting her head slightly as if studying her. "No wonder Haseena is head over heels for you." She said softly.
