"None of your fuckin business Mrs. Ahuja."
Daksh's deep voice came cutting through the seer silence of the hall.

"I called them, where is Rahul?"
Dadaji confirmed not before standing and coming towards the lady.

I heard a loud scroff left from Aarav's throat, he stood up abruptly and moved towards the main door.
Dhriti also stood up slowly and moved towards her room.

Then I heard another trolley bag being dragged, it was a man in his 50's. He nodded towards dadaji and gave a small side hug to dadi.
He then turned towards me and Daksh.

But Daksh was already climbing the stairs, I turned towards dadaji and he nodded for me to follow.
I quickly ran towards the stairs as his long legs had taken him to the corridor already.

We entered the room with a thick layer of silence surrounded around us.
He moved to bed throwing his coat and tie at the process.
I stood beside bed not knowing what to do.
When I moved to collect his tie and coat,  his hands came from behind me pulling me into the bed, top of him.

"Let's cuddle."
I nodded not knowing what to say, we made ourselves comfortable. Him being on top of me nuzzling his nose in my hairs and my hands in his scalp giving him slowly and gentle massage.

After half an hour I tilted my head to look at him.
He was staring at nothing, I wanted to ask him about what happened downstairs but decided against it.

It looked serious and I didn't wanted to invade his privacy. So I just supressed my curiosity and let him have his silent moment.

When I thought that he fell asleep, he stood up and moved towards closet. I followed him and saw that he was shoving my clothes in a suitcase.

"What are you doing?"

"I don't want to be here when they are present in the house, let's live in my apartment till they are gone."
He took another duffle bag and put some of his clothes in his.

"Actually I couldn't be here, in front of her."
He took my hands pulled me with him our if the room, going downstairs straight to the door.

DAKSH'S POV

We were outside my apartment building, I bought it because it was near office. So it was easy for me when I had a busy work days.

Taking out our language we moved towards lift. It was silent between us, and I liked it that she haven't asked about me what happened back at home.

Aarav and Dhriti must be also at their flats or outhouse.
I also have to check on them.
It was good that Aarav didn't loose his cool. I just hope they go back to their place. I don't even know why grandpa called both of them.

We reached 17th floor and the elevator door opened.
We entered the apartment, and all I wanted right now was to cuddle up again, but then I remember she must've not had her dinner.

"What do you want to eat?"

"Anything is fine."
She smiled looking up at me.
I don't know what I did that I've got a woman like her.

"I'll order it, get freshen up."
I interjected taking out my phone, dailing to to the heat restaurant.
I ordered pasta and garlic bread.

I took out my sweat pants and moved towards the another bathroom.
When I steped out of bathroom the doorbell dinged indicating that the delivery is here.

When I reached the kitchen, she was already taking out the bowls and plates. We ate at the kitchen counter talking about particularly nothing. It was obvious that she was trying to lighten up my mood.
When we were done, I took the dishes and put them on sink.

"I'll ask Yash to get a maid for here."
A cleaner comes to clean the apartment every week so we'll just be needing a cook and a butler.
I don't want her to do household chores. I mean I make money for for a reason.

And she'll have more free time to be with me.

"No, I will be free all the time. It's fine I don't need a maid."
I looked at her briefly to see any hesitation but there was none.
Sighing I tucked her T-shirt to and pulled her upstairs towards master bedroom.

The thing I loved about her most was that she knew when to talk and when to not. She knew how to read a person's mood.
We made it to bed and tucked ourselves into duvet.

I was scooping her, clearing the jumbles of questions in my head.
Why did dada called them? And how could they just appear like everything is fine between us, between them and my siblings.

Flashes of memories came running towards me letting me remember the hurt and pain they cause us.
It was all good, I was happy with my new life but they came again, not wanting me to be happy.

"Should we go for shopping, I don't think there is any groceries here."
She had turned towards me watching Mr with her big mink eyes. I wanted to get lost in those eyes, not caring about anything.
I wanted to be always like this, us in each other arms, holding each other and lost at each other's eyes.

"I will ask Yash to clear my evening schedule, and I do have cerels here."
She just hummed drawing indifferent patterns in my chest.
Suddenly she looked up at me with worried filled eyes, like she forgot something important, maybe her laptop or phone. Shit I haven't packed her undergarme-....

"Did you called Aarav, he just get out of house so quick I'm worried. What if he is away somewhere out-"

"Shush, he must be in his apartment. He is quite moody so he will not pick up now, beside Athrav or maa must've checked on him."
She sighed softly nodding her head.

"I think we need to go shopping tomorrow, I don't remember what I packed or what not."
She nuzzled her head in chest, a low yes leaving her lips.

"Sleep precious."
I kissed the crown of her head and started playing with her hairs.
When I feel her breath getting steady I slowly sneaked out of room, going towards my office.
It wasn't as lavish as my office was back at villa. But it was good enough to hide alcohol from anyone's eyes.

I took out a whiskey gulping it down straight from the bottle.
It's burning sensation getting down my throat calming my heart.
Memories of past flashed in front of my eyes.

"It's all because of you, you are the reason I'm becoming like this."
Her high pitched voice sent shivers down my spine making me shudder in fear of getting hit anytime.

Things came crashing down on floor making loud noises. Her scream were loud enough to wake up the twins next room.

Please don't come here, please don't come here, please don't come here.
My mind chantted it like a mantra.
I didn't wanted my siblings to see their mother like this, to see me like this.

Her body fell of floor letting me know that she was unconscious once again. I slowly tiptoed towards the doors.
I open it slowly trying my best not to wake her up again, I ran in the corridor reaching my room. I shut the door and locked it, rechecking it twice.
Small hands came tucking my shirt slowly, I turned and see Dhriti's shivering self. Aarav was at the bed looking straight at me.

That boy never cried after father called him weak. But I knew that his demons were growing inside, sophisticating his heart.

Suddenly a loud crashing sound ringed in the entire house. Loud yelling can be heard from here. Dhriti broke into tears making me hug her.

"What're you doing?"
