Chapter 25th

DAKSH POV

My body froze, if anything I was expecting this was not it.
Why would he do this, it wasn't like he didn't know that Rajeev worked for me. They've even met in office a lot of time.

If it was the statue, then he must've known about the business and also that Athrav has handed me this because all the imports were in his name.
He didn't liked Athrav, saying that he wasn't eligible for being a Ahuja but then again he also never once told me that I was capable for the business.

My eyes went towards Athrav who was already looking at me his jaw clenched.

"Kill him. "

"No! No Daksh, pity me!! Daksh! "

We moved outside the cell leaving the screaming Shah behind. As instructed, as soon as we exited a scream filled the basement.

"He wants to be CEO. "

I said whistle sitting beside Athrav in the car.
All I wanted to do now to punch Randeep Ahuja straight to his face.Only if he wasn't my biological father he would've been dead by now leaving his greed to be CEO behind.

"Will you be mad if I kill him? "

"Even if I don't dada definitely will."

A 'tch' was all I heard from him.
The car stopped outside a building and we got out.

"Get someone to keep an eye on him."

Athrav told Yash whistle I moved inside the elevator soon to be followed by him.

"Get yourself a secretary, will you."

"Hmm."

A sigh escaped my mouth from his plain reply.

"How did you think to solve this? "

"... I don't know. "

I really didn't knew how to solve the situation. He was doing this intentionally and didn't even wanted to hide it, cause if he did he'd never have contacted Shah personally.
It was as if he wanted to inform me that he knew my other business, that I was hiding from world.

Reaching the penthouse we entered the living room and moved straight to his office.
I remembered he asked a penthouse with big office in it, guess it was for this.

"Drink?"

I nooded sitting in the letter sofa.
My mind was filled with possibilities and ideas to get the statue from Mr.Ahuja without creating much havoc because the last thing I wanted was to get our family know about this.

"What about the statues? "

"Randeep thinks Shah is out of country as the tickets were found in his room. So blackmailing is all we got."

He put the glass of whiskey and took his seat opposite to mine.

"What about the delivery."

"He is a close acquaintance, I'll convince him."

Blackmailing him was easy, but getting the proof against him was quite hard. After being in business world for twenty-five years he've created a lot of friends and a bunch of enemies.
His sly mouth was perfect for the people who lived to live in clouds. But there were people who hated him for this, and those were hard to approach.

"How do you plan to do- "

Woof!!!

My head snapped to face Athrav... it was definitely a dog.
I turned my face towards the door were a 23 - 24 inches big dog was standing at the door looking aggressively at me. He was ready to pounce at me any moment.
